These tours are always pricey, but this was worth it. Our pilot, Greg "Go Go" was experienced, professional, and informative. We saw breathtaking views of fissure 8, the path of lava, and just gorgeous views in general of waterfalls and the landscape. Flew through a few rainbows. Staff took care to strap us in and check our mikes. We felt safe at all times. Unforgettable experience, as it was also disheartening to see the destruction of property and land in the path of lava.

Hi. We just did their Spectacular tour including views of current lava flows and Kohala coast waterfalls with landing. If you can afford it, pay the extra for the landing. Pilot Sean (?sp) was fantastic. Great pilot and knows a lot about the island, and we felt very safe in his hands. We had to reschedule this flight because of rain in Hilo area at our original time. I recommend you book the trip for early in your stay so you have time to reschedule if necessary. We got a great discount using The Hilton Grand Experiences card. Had to sit through their timeshare presentation but the card saved us having hundreds of dollars on outings. (Don’t buy the timeshare, just rent their condos)

A bucket list tour and the best way to see the island! Our pilot, Ryan, was great and gave us great views of areas that we would never have been able to see.

This trip with Blue Hawaiian was by far the best money spent on our vacation. I would recommend this trip to everyone I know. This is the only way to see the island of Kauai.

We scheduled the big island spectacular but due to the weather we were only able to do the waterfalls portion. It was a bit disappointing until we got in the air. Then it was amazing. The view from the sky was incredible and the helicopter had great windows to see everything. My dissatisfaction was with the office staff. They were not very helpful with trying to make the volcano portion happen. I guess they are so busy that they just don’t care. They gave us no incentive to take the shorter tour and didn’t really care about the customers. It was an attitude of take it out leave it. Our pilot was nice and pointed out many sights. But the other half of our party was in another helicopter and had the same tour but it lasted longer than ours.

My sister and I (a.k.a. Judy and Jan) began our vacation with a Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour. From the team in the welcome area, to the safety team, and the ground crew, to our wonderful pilot Brandon (aka Brandy), this was a wonder experience! Brandon had all of our first names down by the time we left the ground, he did a great job pointing out landmarks like craters, towns, and movie sets. A very personable young man, with good knowledge of Hawaii. We could not have asked for more!

One of the most incredible experiences of my life. Marty our pilot, made the flight so much fun. He was friendly, knowledgable, and obviously super talented. I can't wait to do this someday again. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Nate and Lindsey
