Thanks Brody for the most amazing tour of Kauai!

HUGO WAS OUR PILOT. HE WAS A GREAT PILOT AND TOUR GUIDE. BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER WE DIDN'T GET TO SEE HALEAKELA, BUT WE SAW MOLAKAI AND THE WEST MAUI MOUNTAINS. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL TRIP.

This was an amazing trip. Ryan told us interesting things about the island and made sure both sides were able to see the views. The waterfalls from this view was neat. Flying into the crater was really cool. This went much better than I thought, considering I am afraid of heights!

The most beautiful and breathtaking experience in my whole life! Got no words at all for this 45 minutes. This flight is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is impossible to forget. More than worth it every single dollar! Huge thank you and shoutout to our amazing pilot Brody!

We went with captian Mark out of Princeville airport! We had so much fun and the views were amazing!!

From booking to checking in to seeing us on our way out the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. You could see safety was their main priority and went over things many times and answered any questions. Pilot Marty was amazing. He was fun, knowledgeable and really fun to fly with. Comfortable and made sure everyone got the views. Helicopter windows were the best I have seen to take in all the views. The day we flew was excellent and the time was perfect as well. We went early morning to beat the rains, may be a good bet for others. Highly recommend it for all ages!

Terrific, fun and exhilarating helicopter flight and aerial tour of the Big Island. If you can afford it you will not regret taking this tour, which was the only way we were going to see the Volcano before we left. Great pilot and memorable flight

We rode with Blue Hawaiian and our pilot was Loren. He was very knowledgeable and absolutely funny. He was a military pilot for 20 years so I was very comfortable with him. I’m glad we made the decision to fly with Blue Hawaiian.

I am not sure what happened to the dissatisfied reviewer but we booked online and had no problem. They emailed us an immediate receipt and a reservation confirmation. Online booking requires 5 day advance and offers a discount. We arrived for 3:15PM check-in time and checked in. We waited in a lounge area for the required FAA safety briefing and watched a video of Maui flights. The briefing was over about 4PM and we walked out to the field to a gate outside the helicopters to be briefed about life vests and be formed into groups to board the aircraft. Seats are assigned by their computer and we are lined up by number. 7 of us were onboard the Eco-Star helicopter by 4:15PM. We all wore headphones and for each 2 people, there was a push button microphone to ask questions. Our pilot Mike was very personable and managed to call us by name throughout the flight. He made us feel like customers instead of just passengers. We flew to the active vent of the volcano and got all the terrific views we had expected. Mike constantly turned and rotated the helicopter so everyone got a good view from every side. We flew about 12 minutes along the coast to the active vent and spent about 15 minutes there before cruising the Hilo area to see countryside and waterfalls. The flight conditions were good and the ride was smooth. This flight was almost identical to the one we took with friends in 2008 but the volcano show was much more dramatic. Airport parking cost $7 for the time we were there. We had planned to buy the video for $25 on DVD but it is no longer available that way and the memory stick version was $40. We bought the DVD the last time and have only watched it twice. You Tube has all the footage you could want.

I cannot speak highly enough of this company!! We actually did this tour because we had such a great experience on their Maui tour. I give Blue Hawaiian a top rating!!
