Chris/Bob was great. For first time pilot training on youtube, he was exceptional! Joking aside, fantastic experience & we would recommend your company to anyone travelling to Hawaii. Stunning. from the fab 4 from NZ. Richard, Rae, Nicola & Tony.

My husband and I did the 1 hour Oahu tour, and man what an experience! We got picked up outside our hotel and the gal was super friendly and we had a great conversation on the way there. I asked the gals at the counter if there was anything special I or they needed to know/do since I am 4 months pregnant, and they suggested motion sickness bands (REALLY wish I would have gotten them) and said they would buckle me in more carefully. Our pilot was Loren and WOW he made the whole experience so much more amazing! Not only was he knowledgeable and friendly,  but he was so funny! We got lucky and had a day with NO CLOUDS! Usually the mountain ridge is covered by clouds, but there wasn't any near the island! We got the most amazing view of the waterfall and could see some of the nearby islands like Maui! Such an amazing experience, the only thing that would have made it better, was if I hadn't gotten sick twice! I would still do it again!

Spectacular views of the volcano fissures and the lava lake streaming down to enter the ocean on a bright, sunny Hilo day! Our pilot Jason flew close to the active flows so we could get tons of pictures. Can't wait to see the video! Check this one off our bucket list!

Our pilot Brodi's narrative was absolutely awe inspiring. His love and passion for Kauai is evident. We could all barely speak - he left us all choked up! What a life changing experience. Thank you Brodi and Thank you Kauai

Rick provided an excellent helicopter tour from Hana. The ride was smooth and easy. Rick was an awesome guide and made the experience memorable. Highly recommend the tour to any and all visitors to Maui.

Brodi was an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge concerning his island. You could feel the passion and love he holds for Kauai. It was hard to think of questions to ask as the views take your breath away and flood you with awe. Very excited to visit Rainbow Joes per his recommendation as a visiting barista from Columbus, OH. Come visit me at Kitties café if ever in my home state. Thank you for sharing the wonders of your island with us. We will hold the memories in our hearts for the rest of our days.

Brodie was excellent - very knowledgeable, great demeanor, respectful of his beautiful island. We're usually a chatty group, but were left speechless by this beautiful island. Thank you so much for an excellent adventure! Our pilot Rick was very fun, knowledgeable and able to answer all my husband's specific questions about lava formations and hiking trails etc. I was worried about being air sick but found the flight to be incredibly smooth and comfortable. We had an amazing time, so glad we decided to do this on our honeymoon!!

It is awesome. but if you don't like jolting , I recommend to take medicine.

Trip Date: June 13, 2018 Travellers: 21 years to 52 years We booked our Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour of Kaua’i well in advance of our trip (months) to ensure that we got a spot. We chose Blue Hawaiian based on family recommendations and Trip Advisor reviews. There is no doubt it is a costly excursion as there were four of us @ $200 each US ($260 Cdn at the time we travelled) and we weren’t sure we wanted to spend that much. However, after going, we agreed we would do it again in a heartbeat. There is so much of Kaua’i that you cannot see/get to other than by boat or helicopter and it is a visual experience like no other. Two of us were concerned about the possibility of motion sickness, and we took Dramamine just in case. We didn’t need to be concerned at all. We could not believe how smooth the ride was – it was slow - not what you imagine from watching reruns of M*A*S*H! Neither of us had any issues whatsoever (driving some of the roads can be way worse than the motion of the helicopter). We booked on the EcoStar because everyone gets their own seat (versus bench seating that is available in other helicopters). We were concerned about getting ‘window’ seats but again, that concern was unfounded. The viewing area from this helicopter is extremely large and the seats are based on your weight so that they can balance the helicopter – it’s that plain and simple. In addition to the enormous windows, the pilot does a 360 degree sweep of all of the key sights so that everyone gets a view. Everyone has a comfortable head set and a small microphone that allows them to speak with the pilot and ask questions. Our pilot, Brody, was amazing. He is native to the island and had a wealth of information to share with us. He was also very engaging and funny. His love of the islands was very evident. We purchased the video of our ride for $40 (US) and again, are happy that we did. You can take stills off the video and all of the chatting you do with the pilot is captured. There are cameras inside and outside to record the trip and we look forward to watching it when we get home. Having said that, it is easy to capture photos during the trip as the ride is so smooth although you will get reflection and distortion at times from the bubble shape of the windows (which is why we went for the video). You don’t have to worry if you wake up to clouds the morning of your ride (we booked the 1:00 p.m. flight as it is often cloudy in the morning with clearing in the late morning/early afternoon). There are so many micro climates on the island, and the tour takes you around the entire island – so no matter what you wake up to, you will likely experience cloud, sun, and rain on your tour (our tour was 50 – 55 minutes in length).

my wife and i had a pilot by the name of brody. excellent pilot with his skills and knowledge. equally impressed with his personality and values.definitely recommend taking this beautiful flight over kauai with blue hawaiian helicopters and ask for brody
