Really great flight out to see the volcano. You can't fly directly over the caldera, but you can see the lava flowing down to the ocean. Pilot was knowledgeable of the area and was very friendly.
We used blue helicopters to see the volcanic activity going on. It was absolutely beautiful. Once in a lifetime experience. We were worried about motion sickness and all 4 of us were perfectly fine. Blue Helicopters is organized and professional.
Brian was our pilot and he was awesome! Super knowledgable about the island, witty and funny. His passion for flying truely showed.
The indescribably beautiful scenery was presented to us by a most enrapturing storyteller, otherwise known as Brody the pilot. His love for Kauai and flying makes for a most fabulous adventure! Best money we spent!
Wesley was a really entertaining pilot providing heaps of interesting information during our Circle of Fire and Waterfall tour. Basic Feedback: I'd highly suggest doing a longer trip around the volcanic area if possible because now during eruptions it's way more interesting compared to seeing waterfalls and rainbows. We flew with Spencer and he was absolutely incredible. We loved how he informed us of the areas that we flew over. And he answered why one section of the water is a darker shade of blue than the other. Kudos to Spencer.

Never imagined my husband Doug and I would be able to share tis experience with our daughters Hayley and Kyra. Twentyone years ago we were married here and the volcano was active too. Derek was our pilot ,in from Maui to help out because of the huge demand. A truly memorable experience !!!! We love the Big Island and prayers for the affected families of this amazing yet devastating natural display of Pele's might.
