Amazing views. Jack did a great job of navigating the clouds so we could get the best possible view of the lava flow and fissure.

Great trip

I was totally apprehensive about this whole helicopter thing. All I could imagine was a chopper from M*A*S*H! It was very comfortable, smooth, and easy all around. Ethan was our enthusiastic and informative pilot who talked to us about everything from the ins and outs of Volcanos to food on the island! The views of the erupting fissure 8 from above were astonishing. The word fissure is misleading-it sounds like a crack in the earth, but in reality it is a gaping hole. I was shocked at what I saw from above. When you see photos of disaster zones there is always rubble (like after a tornado or hurricane)-with this-nothing but black lava fields-no hint that anything lies beneath them. We also saw beautiful waterfalls, the coastline, and the formation of new land as the lava ran into the sea. It’s something we will never forget and we recommend Blue Hawaiian without reservation. Helicopter, scenery, river of lava, entertaining pilot, dramatic music = a bucket list experience that you will remember for a lifetime. Thanks to Pilot Scott who made the flight even more memorable and the ground staff girls for being empathetic, kind and caring as one could wish for. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Mahalo

We went on a Maui/Molokai tour for 45 minutes. Our pilot Dean was amazing! He was hilarious. A fellow passenger asked him how long he’d been flying, “About a month.” He’s been flying for 35 years. I felt very safe in the helicopter. It was extremely windy but he was such a good pilot that we weren’t really nervous at all. He was very knowledgeable and gave us many historical facts and trivia about the two islands. He engaged each passenger in conversation, making sure that wesaw the best parts of the trip. We got very close to the tallest waterfall on Molokai. Amazing! We were never very close to any housing developments. I’ve read other reviews that say the helicopters buzz neighborhoods, but Dean did not do this. He was very respectful of the islands, the people, the culture and the history. Very impressed with our trip. It was very pricey for three people but worth it. Another reviewer said that it was hard to see anything if in the back on the right. My husband sat in that section and said he had great visibility. All of the ground crew were amazing as well. Very nice and friendly!

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip with Spencer. A must do for an overview of the island of Oahu. We would recommend it to anyone. Very professional outfit.

We take a tour every March. Such a great way to see the island.

An absolutely amazing experience. Adolf our pilot was very attentive and informative. He had a very nice manner and at all times we felt safe in his hands. Witnessing the lava flow from the volcano was a once in a lifetime experience, highly recommended. Great quality helicopter too.

So amazing that it's almost unreal!!! I was totally awed by watching how Mother Nature - Lady Pele - at work! Everyone should do this, definitely once in a life time!!!
