The amazing views + the majestic soundtrack playing in your headphones will bring you to tears! Carl and the staff at Blue Hawaiian were so wonderful! They helped my boyfriend plan his proposal, and they timed it just right! I highly recommend touring The Big Island with Blue Hawaiian!

Excellent tour from Esther.....great to see what is happening with volcano from above....only way to really see what is going on. Esther is a terrific pilot! Enjoyed the day and flight immensely.

Expensive but very positive experience with Blue Hawaiian. Seeing Kauai by air is an absolutely amazing experience and a real treat. So much of the island is privately owned or hard to get to that this is a great way to get a glimpse of it all. I went on my first day and it was a helpful orientation to the layout of the island. Book ahead as they book up/don't have much flexibility. I had a 4pm tour and wish I'd been able to go earlier as the light at that time of day was direct/harsh and made my pictures less than ideal. Also, their advice to wear dark colors is helpful. The guy sitting in front of me wore white and the glare showed up in my pictures! They are pretty strict about their check in times and about their safety briefing (they yell at you if you're not paying attention/on your phone). I liked our guide/pilot, with the exception of a short rant about climate change and some snarky/thinly veiled shots at certain high profile politicians (not looking for politics or stress during my vacation!). He said a Hawaiian prayer at the beginning, which was beautiful to hear. He was born on the island and provided a lot of interesting commentary about the history and culture of the place. Helicopters seemed modern and well cared for. The ride was mostly smooth, and the pilot was very careful to explain any bumps we felt (just a couple small ones right after take up due to wind). Overall, can confidently recommend this company.

Received a helicopter tour with the waterfall landing as a honeymoon gift from my sister. My wife and I had an amazing experience seeing some of the island sites that you can only see from the air. The waterfall landing was the icing on the cake. Our pilot Merlinda (hopefully spelling it right) surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a little dessert. Great experience and Merlinda made the experience worthwhile with her in depth details about the island, the company and even some more personal things about a shared background with her husband and I in regards to military service. Blue Hawaiian give that woman a raise!  10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in seeing a new part of the big island. The cost maybe the deterring factor for some as it is not cheap by any means, but IMO the experience was worth it.

Being from the island, and seeing it with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, was such an amazing experience. Both my husband and I enjoyed not only the views but our tour guide was great! Captain Tamara and her crew were just so nice. We were able to learn a little bit about the island and get some wonderful photos! Can’t wait to expiernce the other islands with them next time!

My husband and I did this a decade ago and loved it ! This trip we sent our daughter and son in law!! They loved the waterfalls, saw some deer running and even landed on the side of the crater for a champagne toast !! My daughter said it was like being on the “Bachelor” ?. They thoroughly enjoyed their 90 minute trip !!

Awesome! Our pilot, Guy, was great. Very informative and friendly. Fantastic views that can't be seen any other way. Loved the tour and will recommend to others. A must do in Kauai!!

Wow! What a trip! Our pilot Loren made our flight super fun, we changed from an open door helicopter with another company to the 7 seater with Blue Hawaiian due to the incoming bad weather, so glad we made the change. Our pilot was full of information along the way with soft local music in the background. Thank you Loren and the team at Blue Hawaiian for a truly amazing morning. Jodi, Lindsay & Georgia

Went last year and it was great. Had some rain so we got some mist in cabin but wanted doors off for photos and got some great ones. Pilot was very good and social so well worth the money.
