This was the most amazing flight! The weather worked out perfectly in our favor. We even saw a pod of dolphins!! Best way to celebrate our honeymoon!!

Excellent tour. Our pilot, Mike S., was very nice, informing us of the sights and being very accommodating of our group. Three kids, youngest 4 who is also the most likely to be motion-sick, but the ride was so smooth that we had no trouble. Highly recommended!

Derek provided an amazing experience! He is a great pilot, and is very knowledgeable about the island and its history. He was extremely accommodating to all of his passengers, and gave an excellent tour! I want to thank Derek and Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for such an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience!

I've been trying to take a helicopter tour either in Hawaii or Alaska for the past 10 years and they've all been cancelled due to weather.  This time, the weather was perfect and I have no regrets about doing my first helicopter tour on Kauai with Blue Hawaiian helicopters.  It was clear from the safety briefing that safety is paramount (even if that means being very firm with guests who are talking in the back).   So here was what was unfortunate for me...I got stuck in the worst seat (#6).  It's just the luck of the draw depending on the size of all the other passengers but luck wasn't on my side today.  Since this is not the fault of the helicopter company, I can't ding them on the number of stars...but just be prepared that if you are placed in the back middle seat behind pilot console, your experience will definitely take a "back seat".

This experience was just what the family had hoped for. I truly recommend it to other members of the public. We thoroughly enjoyed it thanks to the tremendous views and reefs. I hope that we are able to visit this experience that Blue Hawaiian Helicopters has provided.

All we can say is WOW! What a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our pilot was Marco. He was wonderful. We decided to elope and use Blue Hawaiian for our wedding. They took us to a remote waterfall that looked like something out of Jurassic Park! Our pilot was very well informed and gave a wonderful tour along the way. The chopper was truly first class and had huge windows for excellent viewing. We all wore Bose headphones so we could communicate with one another and they played awesome music throughout, including James Bond theme when we took off. Once we finished, all of the staff were very helpful with our high-def video (John in particular). If you are interested in taking any helicopter tour for any reason, this is the company to use. The choppers are pretty fancy, brand new, high-tech. Many thumbs up! Thank you so much for making our wedding experience unforgettable!! :) ~Craig & Kimmie

We were very excited to see the active fissure 8 and there are only 2 choices at this time..helicopter or boat. The view was less than I expected as lava river has developed a crust. Ok that is nature I get it. ( but I do think excursion agents should disclose it ). The main reason for the 3 was at the cost of the helicopter tour I would expect the staff and then the pilot to have a bit more personality and provide more information. He was more interested in talking about his life than what we were there to see. Bottom line it was neat but way overpriced.

We went specifically to see the lava flow and steam and we weren’t disappointed. The falls were a little disappointing but overall, we loved it so much I’d definitely recommend. It’s not a bumpy or crazy ride, so no worry if you’re nervous. A smooth flight. Our pilot was Jeremy and he was entertaining and knowledgeable. Best to go in am while the skies are clear here in Hilo, as it tends to cloud over in pm.

My family and I were not sure about double my this but positive reviews and word of mouth convinced us. This is clearly the company to go with. The professionalism and competence Blue Hawaiian erased any anxiety we were feeling instantly. Our pilot, Beth, was awesome-knowledgeable and fantastic at what she does. The entire trip was amazing. Not cheap, but so worth it, This is the company to go with.

Great helicopter with the best pilot in the world (Brodi). We didn't have the best day, was cloudy and little bit rainy but we enjoyed it as it was sunny, It was a beautiful experience.

We splurged because we are on our honeymoon and had been told by friends to try to do a helicopter tour while in Kauai. This company was super professional and efficient from beginning to end. Our pilot Marty was very knowledgeable and gave us good recommendations for hikes and kayaking routes. I took a Dramamine just in case of any motion sickness, and felt great the whole ride. Seeing the island from above is incredible and humbling. Definitely worth doing!

Have to say this was one of the best tours and experiences of my 65 years. Chris was our pilot, he was so much fun and very informative. He interacted with my grandsons, which they came away saying that’s what they want to do when they grow up. Don’t hesitate, take the tour and get chills.
