Suzanne and I would like to thank, Tamara our pilot, for her 25 years of service and a very enjoyable flight around Oahu. Having been a military instructor pilot in attack helicopters and will attest to her great proficiency and knowledge...........way to go Blue Hawaiian!

Beautiful view of the island... definitely a must do!

this was a long time dream of mine. finally came true. well worth the wait. i would love to go back and do it all again. our pilot was beyond great. the volcano even gave us some love, by sending some lava our way, we got to see a breakout lave stream of about a half a mile long. what a great day.

Can I give them more stars than five ! Yeah I could give because this tour was the highlight ,the most stunning thing happened in my whole ten days hawaii trip and probably my once in a lifetime experience , I was very sad when I couldn’t book that open window one ,well we planned this trip late and that was full,but we prepared ourselves for this ,We booked a morning tour in Eco star ,yes it is expensive but more and more glass ,everybody can view really good . While we reached there it was raining a little ,we thought probably it will get cancelled but that’s why we booked it first day on BI so that we can reschedule ,I see many people are disappointed about cancellation but there is nothing they can do ,safety first .we need to plan ahead with little more reading maybe ,feel sorry for them , But our flight was not cancelled ,it went at perfect time ,Front desk people were really sweet ,caring and concern . They showed us some safety video ,took care of our bags and belongings ,made sure everybody wearing black ,( they provide black t shirt if you don’t have ) , provided us with life jackets and other things ,This vessel eco star was amazing ..clean glass and noise cancelling headphone ,Now I need to talk about Wesley our pilot ,an amazing person he is ,he started interacting and making us comfortable even my little daughter by answering all her questions about people who lost their homes .Scenery was amazing ,volcano was surreal and life changing ,helicopter went over ocean entry , fissure 8 ,lava river for some time , I was not able to see properly at right side because whole thing came at left ,so I requested Wesley ...I will never forget How kind he was to show me again at my side by turning around..saw lava river flowing right below helicopter ,I still watch these photographs and can’t belive my eyes ..I am so satisfied and happy that booked with blue Hawaiian .. Because I didn’t have to bear open air noise ,wind and get distracted I could enjoy awesome music ,ask questions and enjoy scenery without worrying if my daughter is safe . End of the trip ,Wesley gifted us keychains so cute and we bought the most amazing thing whole trip video including us ,We watch it again and again with family ,friends and live that moment again ,I think this video becomes more important once you come back we don’t realize how amazing it is before . I took awesome pictures don’t think windows made much difference for normal tourists other than professional photographers . For me weight distribution was fair , every family got one front seat one window one middle .,but even in middle you can watch it properly ,maybe not very good for taking pictures ,If you are alone request then a front seat to take pictures. I didn’t care about waterfalls ,but if you care more about that this is not one ,take one from waikoloa . Oh and end of the trip they took our beautiful pictures with helicopter ..love it

Hilo was my home for several years and the areas inundated by lava were some favorite snorkel spots in Puna. I have taken this trip several times in the past 4 years and always have been impressed. I wanted to see the eruption damage and we had a beautiful clear morning. I recommend the Morning tour since the weather in Hilo often degrades in the afternoon. I loved our pilot who did not take risks or scare me! These guys are very professional! Oh and the waterfalls are cool too!

I've been on this tour before, but wanted to take my 12 year old granddaughter. She was made comfortable and felt secure by the knowledgeable and efficient staff. We enjoyed the lush mountains deep valleys and canyons, especially the Jurassic Park waterfall. Thrilled by the 2500ft waterfall and gorgeous beaches.

This was a beautiful experience, great pilot and guide, very informative. My pictures were ok but the Drive you can purchase afterwards is more unobstructed views. Enjoy!

We did the Maui Spectacular and it did not disappoint. Our pilot Rick was beyond a great pilot. He was very informative and interactive. Landing on the mountain was crazy! We had a blast on this tour and we will be coming back to do the Molokai tour in February to see the whales.

Outstanding experience with our pilot, Marco!! We flew the Big Island Spectacular and had an amazing flight! Loved every minute of the flight--only way to see this beautiful island. We would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the Big Island!
