Marco was a great tour guide and pilot. The flight was informative, engaging, and exciting with beautiful views throughout. Can't think of anything that would have made things better.

If you want to see the whole island with a great perspective that cant be beat take this tour. Well worth every penny! You will see Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, the north shore - the west side - all of Oahu. Absolutely beautiful - we even saw whales! The pilot Julie was amazing, informative and patient with first time passengers.

I wasn't reluctant to do this given the cost and my fear of helicopters. My husband wanted too so I went along with it and I am sooooo glad I did. We arrived early and the ground staff got us all ready and we left early. We did the 90 minute tour with Hugo as our pilot. Hugo immediately addressed us all by name like he knew us and talked to us steady, pointing out things of interest along with Hawaiian history. Hugo would show us something on the left side of the aircraft then turn so the right side of the helicopter could see it. You never felt as though you were missing anything because you were on one side or the other. We saw the most amazing waterfalls and flying into the craters was breathtaking. The whales we saw from the aircraft far surpassed anything we say on our whale watching tour. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't take a whale watch tour as we saw them more vividly from the sky. I can't say enough about Hugo and the tour he provided. I honestly was brought to tears a couple of times at the sheer beauty of what we were seeing from the sky. Yes it's expensive but if you've already spent the money to come to Hawaii and you may never get there again, $400 to take the helicopter is reasonable. Just do it but ask for Hugo for the most memorable time. Thanks Hugo! Your friends from Wisconsin!

Was in Kauai for our 10 year anniversary. Did the Blue Hawaiian Helicopters tour. Our tour guide, Chris, was great. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is: 1. They charged me an extra amount for my weight. I was 7lbs over some number that they made up. My height is well above normal, so I will of course weigh more. My wife was well under that weight limit. So between the two of us, we were under their weight limit. 2. We purchased the video of the our flight which will beta great souvenir, but they really need to clean off the lenses before each flight. 3. Customer Service there was okay. People after us, the copy of their flight did not come through and the employee was not empathetic at all!!!
