Best way to see the whole island! It's a great activity to do at the start of the week to help you pick out what sites you want to go and see at ground level!

Pilot Brian did an amazing job with our trip. His passion and love for the island and his knowledge about the island and it's history made the adventure so much more fun. Thanks for the great flight!

This was my husbands and my first helicopter ride and it was phenomenal. There’s really no better way to see these areas of Hawaii. Absolutely gorgeous! Many waterfalls that are only seen by birds and helicopters, beautiful gorges, and black rocky cliffs. Our pilot Derek was very knowledgeable, but also respectful for wanting to bask in the awe in silence. Derek is very experienced and safety is the number one priority !

Very nicely and professionally organised. Modern equipment and friendly staff. Modern helicopter with 2 seats in the front and 4 in the back. The 2 passengers in the middle seat have less (over)view during the flight. Pilot made a flight to remember. Nice interaction and relevant info. We had perfect flying conditions so nothing was skipped due to weather / clouds.

Taking a helicopter flight with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is a must do when you are in Kauai. We took the Discover Kauai tour that flies out of of the Princeville airport, and it was truly magical. The helicopter was quiet and smooth, and our pilot Jason was exceptional in flying it in and out of valleys for close up views of waterfalls and other spectacular vistas. Although on the expensive side, it was well worth every penny we spent.

We booked the helicopter ride through our cruise ship. We were met at the port by the company’s shuttle driver who weighed us and sent the info to the company. They use this info to determine the seating in the helicopter. At the airport we attended a mandatory safety briefing. If you are wearing light colour clothes they give you dark blue T-shirt’s to wear; improves the quality of the inflight video. You are only allowed to take small purses and cameras on the helicopter; the company will keep your belongs safe at no additional cost. We were escorted to the helicopter and seated one by one. The ride was incredible. We flew over the volcano and lava fields. The pilot was personable and pointed out stuff throughout the flight. At the end of the flight we were shuttled back to our cruise ship. There is an inflight DVD for sale which is expensive at $40/. We did not purchase it. This is a very professional organization and the staff are engaging and courteous. We were fortunate our flight was not canceled due to the ever changing weather in Hilo The reason I did not give this organization a 5 star review..........all seats are not equal.........trust me they are not! The view from the front seats next to the pilot are by far the best followed by the window seats in the back row. The person in the middle seat of the back row has worst view. At the volcano the pilot does turn the helicopter around so the back row gets a chance to view what the passengers in the front row have seen but the view is not the same. I know this for a fact as I viewed the videos and pictures taken by the front seat passengers. I would have paid a premium for front row seats or alternatively the company should provide the person in the middle seat a rebate ........ life’s not fair.......it really bites when one has paid the same price as those who won the front seat lottery.

If there is one thing you do during your stay in Kaua'i, make it the Blue Hawaiian heli tour. Life changing! Spectacular beauty beyond words. Flight felt very safe and comfortable and our tour guide Shay ( Shae? ) was so sweet and knowledgeable.
