I had a fantastic time with Blue Hawaiian!  The pilot made us laugh, there was a fun sound track playing in the background, and the views were unforgettable!  Up in the air, he made sure to rotate the helicopter so everyone had a good view at certain points.   A few notes about the whole experience:  They offer a slight discount if you book 5 days in advance and that's what we did.  You're asked to check in 45 minutes before your scheduled departure.  You're also only allowed 3 small items on your flight (e.g. sunglasses count as 1 item, no bags or packs allowed).  They provide lockers to keep things you can't take or don't want to take up.  Once we checked in, we viewed a safety video and demonstration with ~16 other people (about 6 people per helicopter, 3 helicopters for our time slot).  After the briefing, they assign you seats based on their "computer algorithm" that takes into account passenger weight.  By our super basic guess, it seemed that smaller people tended to be in the front.  The ground attendants are very thorough as to what and what not to do once on the tarmac.  Do pay attention as it's for your and others' safety!  Once you land, they offer to take your picture with the helicopter in the background.   Highly recommend!

Wir hatten einen einstündigen Rundflug über Oahu. Absolut empfehlenswert und ein tolles Erlebnis. Unser Pilot Mr. Gardener hat die einzelnen Sehenswürdigkeiten treffend kommentiert. Kleine Kritik : der Helikopter wurde leider nicht gedreht, so dass jeder Passagier die Möglichkeit zum Fotografieren hatte. Liegt aber vielleicht daran, dass es von jedem Flug einen Film zu kaufen gibt? Positiv : wir wurden am Hotel abgeholt und wieder zurückgebracht. Klasse Service!

Everything was very professional. Sarah was a fantastic pilot with great commentary. Weather wasn't perfect but she found the best viewing and the clouds parted at the crater so we couldn't have hoped for more.

All I can say is WOW!!! The entire flight was incredible. Brian was our pilot and he was extremely knowledgeable of the island's history and its geography. My favorite part was getting to fly inside the volcano's crater and got to see where the lava burst out the side - so epic being right under the clouds. I will say this, I get vertigo and there were moments where I was uncomfortable. I don't get motion sickness and believe if you think you will, you better take some medication for it beforehand. All things aside, the experience is amazing and I highly recommend. Blue Hawaiian really hit this out of the park, great work! A note to Brian, add the 1st part of Balls of Confusion by the Temptations when flying over the Tropic Thunder area ??

My first time on a helicopter & it was beautifully run. Don't forget to take your printed paper confirmation with you to check in. Everyone watches a safety video thirty minutes before your flight time. Seats are assigned based on weight, size & age of people & there are six seats on the flight. Our pilot, Miguel, was wonderful - he engaged every person on the trip, including our two teens & used everyone's first name. He gave has a great idea of the landscape & history of Kauai, without talking too much, letting us enjoy the scenery. The Bose noise cancelling headphones worked so well. We could communicate with the pilot via microphone. We saw beautiful coastline, waterfalls, inside the Waimea canyon & flew in & out of a crater. The flight was expertly flown & was smooth. At the end, the staff takes a picture for you on your phone. You have the option of purchasing your flight video for $40 on a flash drive if you choose. Flight runs about 45-50 minutes. Truly astonishing island with stunning beauty. Do this early on in your visit.

We had an absolutely awesome flight over Big Island, the pilot's knowledge seemed endless - all questions were answered very well! Keith was a very good host when we arrived at the desk and went the extra mile with local advice. Thanks for an amazing experience on our Honeymoon. :)

Sarah was our pilot and she was fantastic! Very knowledgeable regarding the island vegetation, and volcanic and cultural history. we had a blast, and her music selection made the trip all the more memorable and fun.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! One of the most memorable experiences from our Oahu vacation. Julie was a phenomenal pilot. She made us feel completely safe and had fascinating stories for each part of the island we covered. Maneuvering through the mountains to see Sacred Falls was by far the most spectacular part of the tour...it actually brought me to tears! We only have wonderful things to say about the company, our pilot Julie, and the entire experience. Highly recommend Blue Hawaiian for an incredible helicopter tour!
