Had an excellent time. Captain Greg in particular made our tour with informative and fun commentary throughout. Overall the staff was very nice and professional and I'd recommend to anyone. The views and flightpath were amazing, including the soundtrack and movie facts
Niet goedkoop maar zeker de moeite waard. De vlucht duurt ongeveer 50 minuten en is van begin tot einde spectaculair, omdat helikopter vliegt over gebieden waar geen wegen liggen en men dus niet kan komen. Na de vlucht kan je een usb stick kopen waarop de volledige vlucht is opgenomen
Have just returned from the Ring of Fire helicopter trip with Blue Hawaiian and what a great trip. Check in at the airport very easy then into a lounge area for an excellent safety briefing before getting into the helicopter. My husband and I were lucky enough to get the front seats so had great views of all the craters, forests and houses we flew over. Pilot was very informative and loved the Hawaii 50 music on take off. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to do a tour.
Prior to visiting Hilo, I booked a scenic flight over the volcanoes, I have flown with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters in the past and was extremely impressed on both previous occasions. This flight was just as impressive, all the staff were extremely pleasant and efficient, however, the pilot was way up there, his personality, his piloting skills, his knowledge and his total demeanour was remarkable, he was one of those individuals who go the extra yards. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, he was a 20 plus! Would definitely fly with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters again.
Did this “volcano/waterfall” helicopter tour of Hilo, HI. It was pricey, but my first time in helicopter. Pilot Ron was knowledgeable and good natured. Ground crew all pleasant and professional!

Our first helicopter ride and it did not disappoint. The pilot and staff were knowledgeable in the history and details of the Hawai'i volcanos as well as providing eating options and tourist options for the rest of our trip. This is a fun experience. Not to be missed.

Muy profesional. Helicópteros de ultima generación super seguros. Piloto y personal de aeropuerto que te cuidan en todo momento. Un viaje muy suave sobre el mar hasta el sur de la isla y de pronto ingresa por un campo de lava (en mi caso no estaba ardiendo) y llega hasta el cráter humeante del volcán. dos vueltas de un lado y dos vueltas de otro. Fascinante, único y maravilloso. Vuelta con sobrevuelo por la bahía de hilo. EXCELENTE.
