I have always been a little weary of going on a helicopter tour. In addition to being afraid of heights I was worried about safety. This company takes safety to the next level, in addition to weighing each passenger and assigning seats based on weight placement. They issue a life vest to each passenger via a safety belt, each helicopter is also equipped for water landings. ( which is not required) It is expensive, but so worth the experience. If you do a tour, it absolutely worth the extra money to do a WATERFALL LANDING! It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life.

Blue Hawaiian is a class organization, employing excellent, knowledgeable, pilots and operating modern and comfortable helicopters. The Oahu tour is a great introduction to the island, and we used the knowledge we gained for the entire trip - the North Shore, west side, and Pearl Harbor.

This is not what I was expecting I wanted more than looking at a lava field, but it was a beautiful sight and I enjoyed myself, but for the price, we paid I thought we would see some lava or volcano but we got past lava fields.

My wife and I did the Maui Spectacular tour. It was the highlight of our week on Maui! Tim, our pilot, did a wonderful job of narrating the experience. The view from the landing area on Mt. Haleakala was spectacular and complete with champagne! The tour gave us an appreciation for the rugged beauty of Maui that can only be seen from the air.

We loved Paul!! He was so friendly and informative and he really knew what he was talking about. It was a blast.

The pilot was very knowledgeable about the areas we were flying over and worked to get us into places with great views despite temperamental weather. Excellent flight.

I can't give more than 5 stars but our pilot Matt and the office team deserve a 10! Yes, it's expensive, but the two hour Big Island spectacular is really just that; spectacular! The eco star chopper is comfortable and safe. The views are beyond breathtaking. Matt did a great job flying and narrating the sites! Look no further for your helicopter adventures on the big island. Mark was very friendly and informative. He even showed us a pod of dolphins! He adjusted the tour for our interests and had an in depth knowledge of the islands geography, history, popular culture, and daily life. We felt safe and had a blast! Thank you Blue Hawaiian Helicopters
