Den Heli-Flug haben wir bereits in Deutschland gebucht. Die Abwicklung war professionell und zügig. Zum angegebenen Zeitpunkt würden wir abgeholt, zum Airport gefahren und nach dem Flug wieder Retour. Wie gesagt alles höchst professionell. Vor dem Start erfolgte eine Sicherheitseinweisung per Video. Dann ging es los. Jim der Pilot erläuterte während des ca 45 minütigen Rundfluges die Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um Oahu. Der Preis ist durchaus gerechtfertigt und ist jeden Cent wert.

Did a doors off tour. Had Jeff as the pilot. He was great, very knowledgeable about the island. Was a great adventure tour. Very windy with doors off and helicopter was very small compared to the others, but was definitely worth it. Saw a lot of Oahu and would highly recommend it.

Nicole was the name of our pilot and she did a great job narrating our tour. We did the doors on flight and there was some reflection issues. The pilot wore a black and white polka dotted dress and I seen it in my view a lot. It didn't distract me from all of the awesome views of Oahu. I do recommend booking the 2 front seats if possible. I sat in the back with 3 other people and I felt a bit cramped even with the window seat. I can only imagine the view from the 2 co-pilot seats are like because my view wasn't all that great for picture taking.

I bought a helicopter ride for my dad's birthday. He was picked up this week for his flight and came back exclaiming that it was incredible and awesome!! It takes a lot to get him to be expressive of something! It was so good he made myself and my mother do a flight the following day. My mother is a petrified flier of anything so she was incredibly frightened until she was up. Our weather wasn't flash, but still got to see everything worth seeing on Oahu. It was breathtaking and I recommend anyone thinking about doing a heli tour in Hawaii to book through these guys! Nathan our pilot was incredible and even played appropriate songs during the tour (Hawaii 5.0 and Jurassic park lol) Brilliant! Awesome! Exhilarating! Do yourself a favour and book now!!

The absolute highlight of our time in Honolulu. Our pilot Jim was fantastic and gave us the ride of our life. A great sense of humour and gave us lots of laughs along the way when pointing out various sites and landmarks. We felt really safe at all times as Jim always told us what to expect in advance. The scenery was breathtaking and we definitely got our money worth. The final fly over Pearl Harbour at the end was the icing on the cake. A view most people wouldn't see. I thoroughly recommend to anyone. We will definitely be doing that again!

Wow what a great experience this way. We went in the door off helicopter and this was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this to anyone. The company picked us up and returned us from the outrigger at Waikiki. The pilot was fantastic and was explaining where we we're as we were fly over.

Aloha!! Pilot Jim was an exceptional Pilot, very knowledgeable and with a sense of humor who made the tour that much better!! He'll even have mints ready for the prego mamas who have morning sickness!! Definitely recommend Makani Kai Helicopters 🚁🏝⛰🌋

Absolutely would recommend the no door flight with Pilot Jeff. What a perfect end to our trip!!! We hope we get to come back and do this again!

Wir haben im Rahmen unseres Aufenthalts in Waikiki einen 45 Min. Hubschraubrundflug gebucht. Wir wurden pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt und sind nach kurzer Fahrt am Gelände von Makani Kai Helicopters angekommen. Hier hat uns sehr freundliches Personal über die Sicherheitshinweise informiert und man konnte seine Taschen abschliessen. Danach wurden die Rettungswesten umgebunden. Nach einer sehr kurzen Wartezeit begrüßte uns Jim (unser Pilot) und wir flogen los. Mit seiner sehr unterhaltsamen Art und Weise hat Jim über den Dächern von Honolulu und Waikiki uns Ohau nahe gebracht. So erhielten wir einen unvergessbaren und einmaligen Blick auf die schöne Insel. Nach 45 Minuten kamen wir mit einer sanften Landung wieder zurück und wurden wieder zum Hotel zurückgefahren.

Evan gave us a great ride and tour of Oahu. We choose doors on and first class seating. It was cool to see the Jurassic World sets on the other side of the island.

This was a thrilling, amazing experience. My husband convinced me to go on the no-door tour with Evan. Evan was knowledgeable and piloted well. I am not a fan of small aircraft and spent the first half praying we wouldn't die, but the anxiety wore off and I had a fantastic time. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. Was I scared silly? Absolutely.

I cannot speak more highly of Makani Kai Helicopters, in particular Pilot Jim. My mum, brother and I chose to do a helicopter flight on our last day in Oahu. We were definitely nervous prior to boarding the helicopter, but as soon as Jim introduced himself we were completely put at ease. We did the 45 min doors on experience and was my favourite part of our holiday. It was a windy day but Jim gave us fair warning when we would be hitting the 'bumpier areas'. Pilot Jim was extremely informative and had great jokes. Loved the addition of the soundtrack for particular areas, hawaii 5-0 theme, jurassic park and Elvis. Cant wait to come back to Oahu as a whole and when I do I will definitely visit Makani Kai helicopters and try the doors off experience fore something different. I will even be requesting Pilot Jim if possible!!! Thank-you Jim and Makani Kai Helicopters for such a wonderful experience. Lucy.

This was a thrilling, amazing experience. We decided to go on the no-door tour. Pilot Evan was knowledgeable and added to the experience. We weren't afraid of riding, but nervous about the whole experience After nervousness wore off we had a fantastic time. Would we do it again? Heck yes but I would consider the doors on only because we sat in the back and the wind made it a little difficult to use my camera. If I did the doors off again, which was awesome, I was only use a small camera or camera with a smaller lens. The staff is fully professional - not just the pilots. We had to reschedule twice due to different circumstances. If you have any questions about where you are going to sit, call and ask ahead of time. I am sure they can advise anything you want to know. On out flight, the smaller ones sat in the front and the bigger ones in the back. Again, there are plus and minus to everything! Read the rules and you will be set! We are happy we did it and would recommend the ride and this company to all! It covered most of the island! GO ENJOY!!

Took the Sacred Falls one hour tour and it was brilliant. Nathan was a great pilot, very smooth ride.
