Nothing beats a helicopter ride over the beautiful island of Oahu. Evan was a very friendly tour guide (closed doors) who told our group about Hawaiian landmarks, attractions, reef and history. Views are breathe taking, a must while in staying in Waikiki.

Our pilot was very skilled and knowledgeable. Even when it got a little bumpy over the mountains he navigated it smoothly. However, we were sitting on the back right side and the tour goes around the island to the left! So the entire time we were looking over shoulders and through people to see anything let alone get any pictures. This would have been easily fixed if the pilot did some circles every once in awhile so we could get photos too. For the price we paid I was extremely disappointed in only getting to view pieces of the island (whenever the guy next to me sat back and took his camera out of the middle of the window)since the right side was just blue ocean for almost the entire trip.

My husband and I did the open door tour, and had an awesome time from pickup at the hotel to being dropped back off. The views were obviously incredible, but our awesome pilot & tour guide Margot made it that much more special. This is a must-do while visiting Oahu!

We did the 30-minute ride, and if was fantastic! These guys are professional and polite, and they provide a great service. Jim, our pilot, was informative and funny. Even the driver who picked us up at our hotel was polite, professional and helpful. Highly recommended!!

My husband and I did this the other day and loved every minute of it. Our pilot was Jim and he was great, he spoke to us nearly the whole time and told us a lot of information about everything we flew over. Thanks for a memorable trip Jim :)

Went on the 30 minute tour today and whole thing from start to finish was superb. Started with a hotel pick up bang on time and a drive to airfield. Full safety run down and me my wife and son were made to feel at ease. Then onto the flight Jim our pilot was witty and informative and never once did I feel he was fed up with pointing out same landmarks he has to day after day. I loved the magnum pi bit nice touch. We saw as much of the island as we would want and more. Pearl harbour from the air is a must very humbling. Overall I can't rate this company highly enough and Jim was brilliant Thanks

My first trip in a helicopter.I found it exciting.Quite a buzz on take off going up and not forward. Pilot was good - a smooth ride, showing all participants an equal chance to see highlights below. He was informative too so made it interesting.Staff that fetched us from the nearest hotel,Michael,was friendly and efficient and they were organized and friendly at the office before take off.They take pictures of you afterwards on your own camera.

We did the one hour trip which was truly amazing in the doors off helicopter! The best experience ever and not to be missed. We had already driven around Oahu but this is seeing things on a completely different level. Our pilot was Jeff who was so knowledgeable and entertaining. The best money spent.

Absolutely loved this ride! Beautiful, even seen a circle rainbow! Learned some interesting facts, and Jim was a great pilot!

Very much enjoyed our 45 minute tour with the pilot, Jim, who was great and enthusiastic even though he'd obviously done this many, many times before. Yes, the seats are snug and not everyone gets the outside due to weight balancing. If an issue, book a smaller one. Next time I want open doors! A unique experience not soon forgotten. Is it cheap? No, but aviation never is. Enjoy!

First time for me and my granddaughter in a helicopter. This was a dream of mine. We were in a closed door but open is available. It was a 45 min flight over the island. We took a bus tour earlier but seeing from above is breathtaking. Pilot very knowledgeable and enjoyable.

This was an experience that my husband wanted to do with doors off in an authentic Magnum PI helicopter and we both absolutely loved it. Our pilot Jim was such an entertaining and knowledgeable man who took us on such a journey over Oahu that we will never forget. The photos we have as well as the flying experience itself were nothing short of AMAZING! This is an absolute must do for anyone wanting an overview experience of Oahu. Jim's knowledge extended from Pearl Harbour to movie and tv trivia as well as to general knowledge, history and legends about Oahu. Also, it's quite a special experience because the chopper only takes 4 people besides the pilot so we got real interaction with our guide. It's not cheap but it's just so worth it.

Visiting Oahu on an incentive trip with my company, and my wife and did the 1 hour tour around the island. Evan was our pilot and made the trip fun, educational, and exciting as we saw the entire island. Manalo Evan!

This had to be the highlight of our visit to Oahu! We were picked up at our Hotel and taken to the Makani Kai helicopter terminal. There we were given all of the safety instructions and outfitted for our flight. We took The Hidden Oahu special (45 min) which flew over Pearl Harbour, Honolulu, Diamond Head, up the east coast, over the North Shore and then south over the middle of the island, passing over the Dole Pineapple Plantation, then back to the terminal. Incredible views! Fantastic pilot! Doors Off Tours are available, however we were not brave enough for that!
