Haven't gotten on the helicopter yet

Tim was the pilot/tour guide and did an excellent job. He's very knowledgeable and makes sure you get a picture of what you want. The sites are beautiful. It's extremely pricey for only a 45 minute flight. Price/value isn't worth it.

There’s no better way to see Kaua’i! It would have taken a week of dangerous hiking to see everything we saw in an hour ... and even then we’d have never gotten the vantage point as we did from the helicopter. It was a wow! As for the professionalism of the outfit, it’s top notch. They have well formed and structured procedures for safety, and they obviously take great care to ensure they abide by them - from the weighing in of each passenger, to the preflight safety briefing, to the personal fannypack flotation device, to the onboarding, buckling, no speaking to the pilot on landing approach, and offboarding - all signs of an extremely safety conscious and well managed operation. This made me feel very safe. Our pilot was ex-Military and was a skilled pilot. His calm ease, gentle voice and explanations of the sites all out to a quiet and sometimes funny sound track filled with themes of Hawaii 5-0 and Jurassic Park, Over the rainbow, etc over Bose headphones that had built in sound dampening from the rotating blades made the overall trip superb. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my entire family aboard. The helicopter sits 6 people. 2 up front to the right of the pilot and 4 across the back. The two people in the middle of the back seat get gipped a bit from the view (positions 5&6) so try to get there early for the two front seats (positions 1&2) as they are prime. Overall a fantastic experience.

I do not even know where to begin so I will start here. Our pilot Lauren was absolutely amazing and I truly appreciated him going out of his way to ensure that we got the perfect shot and understood the significance of each location. To anyone who may or may not be debating on whether or not to take this tour my advice would be to do it. You will truly never forget this truly amazing experience. Mahalo Blue Hawaiian Helicopters.
