Had an awesome experience, thanks
great time great tours
We had a great trip and were treated to a double rainbow and innumerable waterfalls. Our pilot informed us there are 10,000 waterfalls approx in Kauai :) This activity is a must-do for families. Flying into the center of the volcanic crater will be an inspiration that we will take with us on this trip! By the way, my daughter will journal about this as soon as she gets back to school. She can't wait to tell all her friends. Mahalo!
Unreal...the view of the extinct volcano i.e. the heart of Kauai is a sight I will never forget. This is the stuff dreams of made of. Thanks for the forgettable experience!
Our pilot was Jeremy and he's awesome! One of our passages asked a lot of questions and he was so patient and answered nicely. The view was gorgeous! I may bring my parents next time. Thank you Jeremy and all the staff! The only thing bugged me the whole time was that my life jacket bag on my waist was too tight. My husband fastened it for me. It was ok when I was standing, so I didn't adjust it. But when I sat into the seat and with the seat belt on my tummy, my waist got uncomfortable and it's hard to adjust it. So you better adjust your life jacket not too tight before get into the helicopter.
Matt, our pilot was great! Smoooth flying the whole way with lovely commentary. The scenery is breath taking and the waterfall landing was a moment never to forget.
An absolute BLAST! Had a great tour with our family. The kids had a blast too!
Marco is a very professional and knowledgeable pilot. His experience clearly showed and made for a very enjoyable and entertaining flight. We are so happy to have made the commitment to do this flight. The BEST WAY to see Hawaii.
Karl was our pilot and was absolutely THE BEST! Very knowledgeable of the area and very professional. He made us feel comfortable and showed us the most beautiful parts of the Kohala Coast. Must make this part of your journey. Mahaho!
This is the fifth Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour. Only one not 5 star. The maui tour goes counterclockwise around the island. The back right side seats get much lees to view. Hugo did a good jog turning so both side could see some major points. I felt this was not the best tour I have taken. FYI after we were all buckled in we also switched from front seats to the back right side. Not sure why. Even the pilot was unsure why he had to power down for this switch.
Well we went on a Tuesday morning and it did not disappoint. Our chopper that held 6 only had to take 4. Our pilot was fantastic and narrated the entire trip for us. He swung around to allow us to grab some really cool pics with our cameras. Was it pricey? Well hell, you're flying in an expensive helicopter. They can't do it for free! Some of these other reviews kill me.... I wouldn't recommend you need to pay for the upcharge to sit up front, nor would I recommend buying the DVD - unless you're really into that stuff and think you'll watch it several times...
The tour was awesome! Josh had great facts about what we were seeing and made sure to make the ride as smooth as possible.
If you have time for one tour on a visit to Hawaii, the Blue Hawaiian full island helicopter tour is the one to take. Shane is a great pilot and knows everything about the Big Island from its geology to its history. He made sure everyone on board had picture taking opportunities. The island sells itself but Shane added a lot of detail and insight. This is a must do adventure.
Great service, amazing tour
Thoroughly enjoyed the flight. Do not agree that you have to pay an extra $100 to sit in one of the two front seats. $40 more for a dvd of the flight so didn't buy.
