We [4 of us] did the 55-minute tour of Kauai yesterday and it exceeded our expectations. The equipment is great and the scenery is epic, primeval, spectacular. We estimated that we saw 200 waterfalls, plus Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali Coast. Our pilot, Nate, was terrific. Our only complaint is that we bought the DVD of our flight [$25] and the video quality was very poor.

We really enjoyed our helicopter tour over the West Maui Mountains then across the ocean to Molokai. The young lady who booked our tour said this was her favorite tour and I agree. You experience both islands and the open ocean with spectacular views of the Molokai sea cliffs..the highest in the world as well as an adventure through the West Maui Mountains. This 50 minute flight was a most memorable adventure. As a businessman I was impressed with the well organized operation of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters - a first class operation.

This helicopter was great. The flight was smooth and not as noisy as I expected. Our pilot had great info and was very friendly. The helicopter was clean and I felt very safe. The views were breathtaking and we could see all the way to the big island. We landed on the volcano and had some delicious champagne. One of our favorite activities on the trip. We were lucky with great weather, few clouds, and minimal trade winds. Perfect day for a helicopter trip. The ecostar had perfect viewing. Only complaint was my husband was on the right side of the helicopter and as we flew around the island he really only saw water. The important stuff the pilot flew in a circle for all to see but a small part of the trip he was just looking at the ocean.

Great experience for my family! All staff from check in to pilot are respectful and aware this is a once in a lifetime event for most people and make it special. All questions answered and extra effort was made by our pilot to show my kids a good time. Sights are incredible and plenty of time is given to enjoy them. Sign up and go for a helicopter ride!

The guys' (adult and kids aged 20 and 22) one hour Maui tour was changed at last minute due to the weather so instead of the east side the island they went over Molokai and they LOVED IT. My partner has been on four previous vacation helicopter trips and he was very impressed (I am writing on his behalf as I am the Trip Advisor author for the family). The pilot (Rick) was fantastic. Informative and enthusiastic and didn't trot out tourist "schtick." He didn't talk too much. Office staff were professional and the helicopter was spacious. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

Wife and I did the Molokai and West Maui trip. The sights and scenery was simply spectacular. We choose that trip in part due to the relative short duration - we had never been on a helicopter and weren't sure how we'd do. Looking back, we could have stayed in the copter all day! The trip was super smooth, thanks to the equipment and our pilot Ryan. He was also a great "tour guide" loaded with facts. He also encouraged questions and conversation during the trip which added to the experience. This is an expensive outing, but I would say worth it. The only downside we experienced is kind of unavoidable: someone has to sit in the middle of the back row (two people actually) which is not the best seat. However, I was still able to see just about everything, it just made the picture taking a bit trickier. highly recommended.

Our Pilot Eric was very informative and funny at the same time. He made the flight very enjoyable and answered any of our questions. Well worth the expense

Cannot say enough about our ride with Blue Hawaiian and pilot Mike Thatcher. From lift-off to touch-down Mike had us completely engrossed in the landscape, the sea, waterfalls, history, and other amazing facts about Maui and Molokai. From the 3,500' falling-of-water to the Manta Rays swimming in the shallow of Molokai, we were entertained and motivated to learn more about the Hawaiian Islands. The Eco-Star performed flawlessly as did the staff and maintenance people at the OGG Airport. Will be back in June...with more family this time! Blue Hawaiian 'Blue' us away!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our flight around Maui. When we first arrived the reception staff were magnificent, and very welcoming, and created a very professional, but relaxing atmosphere. Our pilot Rick was fantastic, kept us fully informed and entertained throughout our trip. He was very knowledgeable, and highlighted a number of interesting facts to us and explained a number of features about Maui to us. I would thoroughly recommend this flight to everyone. The wife and I took a trip to Honolulu January 2015 and decided time for a copter ride. Picked Blue Hawaiian because of the helicopter and safety record. Lauren was our pilot and was a great host for the 45 minute ride. 100% Happy with the entire experience. They also picked us up at our hotel and drove is back at no extra charge. Do this as the airport is very confusing as there are many firms on that site.

My boyfriend and I spent 10 days in Maui and thought that a helicopter ride to Hana would be utterly amazing, I had never been in a helicopter before and thought it would be epic. This was not the case, the helicopter itself was fine, but if you get put in the back seat you really have a hard time seeing, and if you are in the middle of the back seat that is really the worst, we asked ahead for up- front seats and they confirmed that to us, then when we boarded we got put in the back...not sure why. Our pilot Gernot was really kind of boring, you couldn't really hear what he was saying and it was kind of like he was bored, barely spoke at all. We saw Haleakala crater but it was kind of covered in clouds, and the rest of the time you just fly around, we saw only one waterfall that was totally beautiful but otherwise I thought that it being a helicopter they could have made it a bit more exciting than they did. It was very expensive and just kind of uneventful, wouldn't do it again.

Very organized. Very Professional. Rick was a very informative and seasoned pilot. The Eco-Star was very spacious. ( my wife said she felt like she was in the Limo of Helicopters.)The headsets and microphones were a great surprise as we could all talk to each other and ask questions. We paid for the DVD/USB of our personal flight and it is really cool. Highly recommend this experience of a lifetime !

We loved the West Maui / Molokai helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian! The operation was well run and efficient! Our pilot, Rick, offered nice narration throughout the tour without over doing it. The sea cliffs of Molokai are incredible and a must see if you take a helicopter tour. We had great views of the magnificent waterfalls and the scenery was breathtaking. The trip back along the west coast of Maui and through the Iao Valley gave us a great view of Maui. It was a great tour and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.
