We were terrified but Markus is an AMAZING pilot!! The main reason I was afraid is because it was rainy but I could tell he was very experienced and that he enjoys what he does! Thanks a million Markus! The staff is AWESOME!!

Michael was an incredible pilot! Very knowledgeable in all things of the island and gave us special views of the beautiful waterfalls. What a way to bring in the new year, watching the fresh lava flow from Kilauea!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience!!! The entire staff at Blue Hawaiian in Hilo were great and our pilot Michael was amazing!! We did the volcano and waterfalls experience and Michael narrated along the way with historical info and answering any questions thrown at him without problem!! 😎 Would recommend and do it again in a heartbeat! My family had never been on a helicopter ride before and were nervous for the trip. But Toshi (our pilot) and the entire crew were very professional and made my family feel comfortable from the start. The ride was amazing and we saw so much more than we could have by car. With the volcano erupting, Toshi took us over and we saw amazing sights of the lava erupting in the crater. My kids (13 & 15) thought the whole trip was amazing. Definitely recommend. It is worth the expense.
