We had an amazing experience with Blue Hawaiin Helicopter. Thank you Hugo for being so knowledgable. It was our first time on a Helicopter and the views were spectacular!!! Blue Hawaiian Helicopters were efficient and staff was very friendly. We will definitely choose Blue Hawaiin Helicopters again when we go to the Big Island

We took this helicopter tour in conjunction with Temptation tours. The helicopter to Hana, then a van back to the airport. The helicopter tour was interesting and it was lovely to see the island by air. We were able to get fairly close to Haleakala for some outstanding photos. The pilot and staff at Blue Hawaiian were helpful.

Justin gave us a great ride, floating above the island coastline. We asked about whales (out of season when we were there ) but found a whale shark just below us (rarely see ) ! Saw some blow holes. Thousands of years old volcanic and settler remnants. The history of the Hawaiian island chain is so interesting. And the dramatic difference between the rainfall (flora/desert) area in such a small area.

Where do I start?! The idea of helicopter ride was terrifying to me but my husband lives for this kind of thing so I did it.... and we dragged our 3 year old along. Not really, she was pretty excited about it. SO brave! Derek, our pilot put everyone at ease. He was so calm and collected, knowledgeable and gave us a super smooth ride! 6 passengers total, plus the pilot, it was cozy - everyone had great views and really I am SO GLAD I push through my hesitations. We went first thing in the morning and lucky we did - trips were canceled after us due to bad weather. Really it was an incredible experience! Be sure to wear dark colored clothes for better pictures (light colored clothes show in the reflection on the glass doors and make it difficult to take good pictures from the ride. Enjoy!

This is an extraordinary experience and one that you will enjoy for a while after you land. The pilot and tour guide was excellent. I am sorry I cannot remember his name but he was Brazilian and had lived in Maui for 15 years and really knew the island. There are some majestic sights and lots of photo opportunities. Really worth the $$$. I would do this again, I am sure I will see more next time.

We took at 9am flight over Haleakala and Hana along with the east coast of the island. Hugo was our pilot and was knowledgeable of the island and areas of interest. Flying over the forest and waterfalls in remote areas that people are not allowed and nothing has been built near....simply beautiful. The large rock that was in Jurassic Park was pointed out. Flying above the clouds was phenomenal!

The scenery is incredible. The only drawback is they seat you in the Helicopter. I was in the middle seat, and unable to get many pictures. I understand the weight factor and balancing it, but it would've been good to know before we purchased the pricey tickets. Because I was in the middle, 80% of my pictures carried a glare.

Best experience in Hawaii in the 11 days we were here! Great pilot, ground crew, and staff! They made everything perfect for wedding proposal!

Very impressed with safety policies and guidelines. I'm a Nervous Nelly about these things, but I felt very much at ease and comfortable (and they sat me in the front!). Our pilot (Tim) was really the best part. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and simply made the experience the unforgettably wonderful one it was.

Great excursion. Helicopter was comfortable. I had a window seat, so views were great. Think the two middle seats in the back row probably has less visibility. Pilot was very nice. Ride was very smooth and easy. He made circles around several areas to ensure that everyone could see. Views were beautiful. First time in a helicopter and I’m glad we did.

We spent the day on Maui off a cruise ship, we booked this adventure off of the ship before arriving, we were shuttled from Lahania to the airport (about 45 min due to construction) when we arrived we were weighed in and assigned our seat, my wife and I scored front seats, we were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved, our pilot was awesome and kept us informed on everything going on around us, there were skydivers above us and some extreme surfers below, we flew to Hana, saw many beautiful waterfalls, a couple of huge estates and the incredible "Road to Hana" Very comfortable and exciting ride. Thank You for the great flight! Can't wait to do it again!

We had such a great time on our helicopter tour. Everyone at the tour was super nice and friendly, check in was a breeze, and our pilot was funny and informative during the tour. We saw amazing views and it was a great start to our trip.

We had an unbelievable experience with Blue Hawaiian and would hands down book with them again. Our pilot Lee was great and made sure to circle around so both sides of the helicopter could see the sights. Haleakala and the coastline were stunning. Would hands down recommend! Note: we originally booked a helicopter ride with Safari Helicopters while in Kauai and they cancelled on us last minute for a BS reason (see separate review). Our biggest regret was NOT booking with Blue Hawaiian in Kauai Thank you, Blue Hawaiian!

This is the only way to see the Island. Actually saw two island for the price of one. Love the mountain top landing for the champagne toast.

Fantastic. First time in a helicopter and it unforgettable seeing Maui from the air! The scenes were great. The helicopter was new and well maintained
