Top notch from start to finish! I highly recommend this tour to see all the beauty that is Kauai. The intake process upon arrival was efficient and there was very little time spent waiting around since you have to arrive an hour prior to your scheduled flight time. Flight crew got us on board and we were off. The pilot was great! Just enough knowledge dropped while getting us up close to the scenic highlights. He made turns so both sides of the helicopter got good views of each spot. We benefitted from a brief rainfall that helped fill the waterfalls but those rain clouds hindered views of the tops of some peaks. The tour music was perfect and perfectly timed for each area. They offer pics of your group taken in front of the helicopter as well as video of your actual flight/tour (with pilot commentary and music) for purchase. We got the video - another cool souvenir! All in all, it was an amazing experience I’d do again, and would encourage anyone who can take this tour to TAKE THIS TOUR!

My husband and I did a helicopter tour on our honeymoon and it was one of the coolest things we've ever done. If you are new to visiting Kauai, you HAVE to do a helicopter tour. And if you're going to do one, it should definitely be with Blue Hawaiian. All the staff was incredibly professional and we had so much fun with our pilot, Greg. He even took the time to make us feel special by "naming" a waterfall after me!

We have been on the islands for 10 days and took the complete island for on the last. What a great experience to complete our trip. Yes it is an expressive hour but you will see parts of the island that are simply not available any where else. The views were fantastic. Marco was our pilot and answered all of our questions and pointed out the major points of interest. I typically don't purchase pictures after tours but they made a video of the trip, complete with the cabin audio, and it was so good we wanted to capture the memory. The staff and check in process was very good.

I'd give three stars, but I don't want to throw off their ratings because, overall, it seems like a great company, our pilot Greg was a lot of fun and what I did see was amazing. I didn't have the same experience as other reviewers. It's only worth the full ticket price if you're by a window. Otherwise, your views are obstructed and, if a stranger is in front of your window, it's not comfortable to reach over them. I missed out on waterfalls and didn't get a full view of the canyon.

Middle seat review. A window seat would likely have been five stars, and I my expectations might have been more realistic if there was tiered pricing. You'll have an obstructed view if you're in the middle of the second row, and you'll have trouble taking photos if the person sitting next to you is all elbows when using their camera. The seating is two passengers up front and four in the back, and BH assigns seating. My 5 year old who didn't even look up was next to the window didn't even look up, my 6 year old was in seat 2, I in seat three and a stranger to my left. I understand that they need to balance the helicopter, but I wouldn't pay $1000 (3 tickets) to do it again unless I was guaranteed to be next to a window. They should absolutely not charge the same for interior and exterior seats, since it's a completely different experience. I missed waterfalls, the scope of the canyon, etc.. That being said, the view was still stunning and the pilot was great. It was much smoother than I expected.

This was a bucket list item for me. Cant even explain how beautiful the island was from the air. Seeing the coast with all the waterfalls and also the active volcano was amazing

We did the Kohala Coast Adventure with Landing at a rainfall. It was the most amazing experience we have ever had as a family. The pilot (Greg) was very informative and just made the trip the more sensational. Tremendous scenic views. Would highly recommend for anyone thinking about doing this trip.

Great staff. Chelsea was an outstanding pilot with an obvious amount of experience. There is no other way to see this much of the island.

Flew with pilot Derrick who was such a character! After an enjoyable Road to Hana tour ride and lunch earlier in the day, it was incredible to fly back via helicopter over the south east coast of Maui to see Haleakala crater and the wind barrier dividing the dry western side of Maui from the rainy East side. Glad I got to have this bucket list experience with my family.

All the people we dealt with were super. The pilot was informative and a great pilot. However we never saw mauna loa. We expected to get close to the advertised and pictured "ring of fire". We saw old lava and fissures and a small crater with a little lava. Our pilot ethan did a fine job showing us that. This was a great helicopter ride but if you want to see mauna loa, save your money and go to the visitors center at night.

This was the best money we have ever spent on a vacation. The ride was flawless and Pilot Barrett was great at remembering to do full 360s so that all passengers could enjoy the sights. We paid extra for the front seats. Do that if you can, but there were no complaints from the rear seats. We also bought the in flight video. I took pictures but they don’t do the trip justice. The video captures the entire beauty of the island.

What a GREAT experience! Could not have been better! The ground crew was pleasant and our Pilot was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The flight was structured so that everyone had a chance to view the particular vistas. AND the pilot accommodated our request to fly past our new home!

This tour was outstanding and we 100% recommend it! From start to finish, the BH team is amazing and cares about customer experience. Totally worth it and a once in a lifetime experience with one of their helicopter pilots. We had Alio and he was just the best and nicest guy. Thank you for making our visit perfect.
