OMG! What a FABULOUS experience! Firstly Mel met us at the door and helped us through all the procedures. She was fun and friendly and extremely kind. Then there was Barrett, who is a pilot himself, he helped us with great patience actually experiencing the adventure. Firstly there was the safety movie. Then the safety equipment dress up! Then we actually got in the most glorious color of blue helicopter. Our pilot was the Supervisor of Pilots, Greg. He said he's done this for 22 years but I told him it would definitely not be like any other trip as we were on it! Kauai is the most beautiful place on earth and this hour displays it like no other way can. There had to be 13 rainbows. Again, because of me! The trip and all our questions and laughter and joy were forever recorded and that tape is provided at the end, if you so wish. It is my absolute favorite way to travel and explore. It is like no other. One feels so alive and hopeful for the future after such an experience. MAHALO big time to Mel. Barrett and Greg! me ka aloha pumehana,koko

This is a "must do" experience when you are visiting the Island of Kauai, as there is no better way to experience the beauty and majesty of the incredible Napali Coast. This was my second trip on the helicopter, and the pilots are always very experienced and professional. The winds in the canyons were up to 50 miles an hour the day of my trip, so we did experience some pretty turbulent air during the 50 minute trip to the coast. Blue Hawaiian is very serious about COVID-19 safety, and because of the disinfection of the headphones and microphones between passengers, the headphones were not working for the three family members seated behind me, and they were unable to hear the wonderful narration provided by the pilot during the journey. Although it was my second helicopter ride with this company, I was more than a bit disappointed, as I was traveling alone and paid an extra $100.00 to be seated in the front of the helicopter next to the pilot. Because there were three family members traveling together and seated behind me, I would have received the exact same seat had I not agreed to pay the additional $100. 00 to be the "co-pilot". The office agent refused to refund the additional money when I questioned why I needed to pay the extra $100.00.

Well worth the money. Pilot Barrett was awesome. Didn’t have any turbulence because he knew how to maneuver the terrains.

The views of Kauai are amazing on this tour! Im a little acrophobic but did fine on this trip. I do recommend you take motion sickness pills if you have trouble with motion sickness.

Fantastic experience. This tour covers the entire island including the Jurassic park falls, the Waimea Canyon and spectacular views of the Napali coast and a dip inside the volcanic crater that created the island. Normally i get nauseous easily on copter rides, but our pilot Paul kept the whole ride very smooth while keeping the excitement and not missing out on any of the views. He also gave us some great tips. The check-in process was smooth (currently due to COVID they are only operating 1 copter at a time) - so had the whole place to the ourselves and the whole copter to ourselves. A quick weigh and safety video later, we were snugly settled in the copter. The ride was great - we even passed through a circular rainbow! Some of the vistas of the island have to be experienced over air. This is a must do! Pro-tip: Wear dark clothes so your pics and videos don't are not blocked. And skip taking small kids if you can, as they usually fall asleep on copter rides.

A spectacular experience for our family of 4. Our pilot was funny, informative and open and interactive to what we wanted to see and where we wanted to spend time. The copters they use are quiet, safe and comfortable. Absolutely a must do during your trip to the island.

The staff and pilot were awesome if you really want to see Kauai this is the way to see it up front and close views of every part of Kauai would love to do it again

This was a must do on Kauai! You really don’t understand the beauty of the island on this level until you’re up in the air. We will be talking about this tour the rest of our lives. Barrett was our pilot & was great at educating us on the island’s history & land. Couldn’t recommend this more!

Unbelievable scenery which would have been impossible to see otherwise. We paid for an upgrade to the front seats which was well worth it!

Awesome ride with Blue Hawaiian! We chose them because they were highly recommended in various places around the internet and also in the Kauai Guidebook. Our pilot Greg was great, he had lots of cool things to share about the island, cracked some jokes and made the trip really fun. If they're available, spring for the two front seats next to the pilot - it's worth the extra $$!!

We did the tour with my wife and teenage son. The experience is unlike anything you have seen in your life. It's expensive, but worth it if you can afford it and if you can tolerate a little choppiness. It's very safe though since the pilots are very experienced and the company has been doing this for years. Our pilot, Greg, was a great resource. He was kind, informative, and was passionate about giving the tour even though he must have done it hundreds or thousands of times. You can see the awesome pictures here, but the experience cannot be captured by photos, you must be there in person to experience it.

The scenery was beautiful, however Chelsea the pilot was not dynamic. She was very blah. When it came to the Jurassic Park falls she played the theme song and then said Jurassic Park yeah. This is an expensive trip and was looking forward to seeing the falls and she made it not very interesting. She was very mono tone. A helicopter left before us and arrived after us. If you do not want to pay to be upgraded to the front seats then I would suggest to sit on the right side of the aircraft. Perhaps a more enthusiastic pilot would have given this tour a better rating . I did love the sites that we saw. We had done a boat tour a couple of days prior to this tour and the captain of that tour gave a far more superior explanation of the Doreen that we saw.

Had a wonderful adventure seeing the island from the air. Funny knowledgable pilot who made sure we got lots of good views of all there is to see on this amazing place. Highly recommend.

This helicopter tour is amazing. The office and staff are very professional and very welcoming. The views from the helicopter tour are just breathtaking and I would come back to do another tour.

I highly recommend this helicopter tour of Kauai! It was a smooth, informative ride throughout the whole island. We visited the waterfall from Jurassic Park, plus other filming locations from movies like Pirates of the Caribbean. One of the highlights was entering an extinct volcano that's now lush and filled with waterfalls. The pilot was kind and a wealth of knowledge. Worth every penny!
