Scott was a very professional and knowledgeable pilot. He made sure that everyone was able to see and take pictures of all of the scenic areas of Kauai. The waterfalls were amazing but being able to go into the crater was just as amazing. We both strongly recommend this tour to everyone.

My husband really pushed for this tour and I am so happy he did! The only way to truly see as much of Kauai as possible is by helicopter. We absolutely loved this tour! We saw so many amazing sites and it was a fun experience! Our pilot, Marty, made us feel very safe. It was a personable experience.

Our pilot Brian gave us a trip of a lifetime through steep valleys, up and over misty peaks, across stunning Waimea Canyon, beside tall cliffs with waterfalls and over beautiful coast line. Brian's commentary was interesting, informative and very clear. This was a great way to finish our cruising holiday. Many thx.

This was the number one thing I wanted to do on our honeymoon. My husband is extremely safety conscious and was concerned about going on a helicopter tour. Let me tell you, this company has VERY experienced pilots. I never felt we were in any danger. Our pilot, Ryan, was a helicopter pilot in the Marines (?) for eight years I think he said and then a life flight medical pilot for many more years after that. My husband and I had a great time. I do have a tendency to get motion sick and had never been on a helicopter before so I took a bonine before and was 100% fine. I don’t think I even needed it. The helicopters seat 6 and it looks like skinniest people get the front two seats. My only complaint was we paid $269 each (full price) for our tickets and paid another $25 for a t-shirt, then afterwards found a coupon in the weekly Kauai magazine for like $200 tickets plus a free T-shirt and free DVD....we would have saved $160+ and gotten a free DVD had we known. That left a bad taste in my mouth because then I felt ripped off. We would have loved to have a DVD of our special honeymoon ride but after paying $538 for tickets and $25 for a t-shirt, we were tapped out. So, go! But—look for coupons.

Simply put, the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour was the best thing we did in the 11 days we were in Hawaii. And we did a lot of great stuff. It really is just a magical site flying over the island and taking it all in. The Na Pali Coast was the kind of site you can't put into words. Expensive of course, but worth every penny if you can manage it.

After months of fretting about conquering a fear of helicopters, the day finally arrived. As soon as we checked in, I felt comfortable, and after the safety presentation I was starting to get excited. Pilot Shay's calm and reassuring voice was definitely appreciated. My husband had told him, while I was still waiting to be seated, that I was a first time helicopter passenger and was fearful, so every time he knew there would be "a little wiggle", he let us know ahead of time. Thank you, Shay. That made all the difference in the world. After Waimea Canyon I started to relax and was fully enjoying the tour as we rounded the magnificent view of the Na Pali Coast. We highly recommend the Eco Adventure Tour. The bird's eye view of the entire island...well, pictures and words cannot do justice to the beauty. It is breathtaking and an incredible experience. Thank you Blue Hawaiian Kauai for your professionalism and making everyone feel like they are the only tour of the day.

Quite large and very comfortable seating. From the moment our Pilot, Chris, began to talk I was immediately calmed and any fears quickly disappeared as we sighted this beautiful island from the very best vantage point, above. I had some concerns because it was overcast and, at times, showers of rain came throughout our flight but this only added to the majesty of being so close to the many waterfalls and shades of green of the mountains. The view along the Na Pali Coast were spectacular. Our flight was a very generous 50-55 minutes and absolutely beautiful and serene the entire way. The helicopter is fitted with several cameras and you can purchase a memory stick movie of your flight, including views of the passengers from time to time. All seats had great views for the 6 passengers plus Pilot. Tip: Do wear a dark coloured outfit so that the design/colour on your clothing does not reflect in the photos you take. Highly recommended and would fly with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters in a heartbeat.

We had a great time on the helicopter tour. Beth, our pilot was amazing. Definitely a great way to see some awesome water falls you can’t see otherwise.

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy a helicopter ride but having read previous reviews, we tried it. The trip was smooth, fun informative and educational. The pilot/guide was very friendly and open to any questions. The flight took us all over the island and his commentary was interesting and funny. Even the music fit the scenery which was amazing! The company is extremely careful to cover all the safety information. The bathroom, according to my wife was the cleanest public facility in the state. I sat in the middle seat and, to be honest, I didn't have much luck with pictures but I could see everything fine. The flight was the highlight of our trip. well worth it.

Insane experience, definitely once in a lifetime. My wife and I were lucky enough to sit in the front row, which i highly suggest you request (they say its based on weight, but we requested it and got it, so who knows). The seats are very comfortable and the windows are very large, though there is lots of glare for photographs. I DO NOT suggest buying the video after your flight, the quality of the video is sufficient at best and the cameras are hit and miss with the proper views. But otherwise, great crew and loads of fun. Definitely recommend, worth every penny.

If you get a chance to do this, please don't pass up the opportunity. We enjoyed every minute of this wonderful experience. Some things to expect before the flight...they will weigh you at check-in (very discrete), you will be asked to wear dark clothing to reduce glare, nothing but your camera and phone (on airplane mode) allowed in the helicopter, and you will watch a 10 minute safety video. Brodi was our pilot and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to his narration during the flight. He deeply loves this island and you can tell from his stories and passion for history. From movie sights to sacred burial grounds, you see it all and will appreciate Kauai on a whole new level by the time you return to the airport. We spent two weeks hopping the islands, and this was the highlight of our amazing trip. We highly recommend! Thank you Blue Hawaiian and Brodi!

We had a group of 15 take the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour today. It was a great experience. Our pilot was Brodi and he was very informative and gave us a smooth ride. Anyone concerned about motion sickness shouldn’t be worried. The Ecostar helicopters are very comfortable and the flight was like floating on air. We learned a lot about Kauai and saw many incredible sites. Thanks Brodi for a great flight.

This was our 2nd Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour this week (also did lava flows on The Big Island) and both were excellent experiences. Kauai is so stunningly beautiful, so unlike anything you can see anywhere in the world, and so remote in so many places, there just is no other way to see it. Go do this! Kudos to their entire team for a smooth check-in, clean vessels, friendly staff, and a shoutout to our pilot Shane for a smooth flight filled with just the right commentary.

An amazing helicopter ride around Kauai! We took this ride at the end of our trip after exploring the island by car and boat. This is a must do to see the island in a different way! So much of Kauai is inaccessible by road and this was absolutely amazing to see the island properly. We have never done a helicopter ride, and my husband is even afraid of heights, but we both felt so safe. The check in building was very nice and we had a nice safety and information presentation before. I felt prepared and the instructions to board were easy to follow. I believe the pilot's name was Ryan. He was so nice and I loved all the info he gave to us about what we were seeing! It all was just so breathtaking! Excellent, excellent time. Definitely the highlight of our trip, second to when a monk seal swam with us while snorkeling!

We often talk this trip. We love the video too. Shay was awesome.He made sure he turned the helicopter for me so I could get some great pictures. The flight was so much smoother than I had anticipated. I didn't want it to be over. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was disappointed that we didn't get to see the Na Pali coastline as we didn't get to do our boat ride either. Oh well, safety first. But oh the waterfalls and the volcano. You really had us up close and personal with that. Just an amazing trip, we can't stop talking about it. Very professional crew from start to finish. If you are scared, don't be. I am terrified of heights and I wasn't scared at all. I did take Bonine at night and again an hour before just in case. I had no problems at all. Do it, you won't regret it !! I miss Kauai.
