We did the Big Island Spectacular with the waterfall addition and it was absolutely unbelievable! If you only get to budget for one big blowout experience on your trip to HI (because it is quite pricey), it should be this one. It blew my mind to think of how few people have seen some of the sights you see on this tour, just because of the impossibility of getting to some of the more remote areas. A few days after our helicopter tour, we hiked along one of the craters this tour flew us over and getting to see both viewpoints really changes the way you interpret the island. The soundtrack for the tour was spot on. The waterfall landing was something that I'll remember forever, it was that impactful. Spending those few minutes exploring the gorgeous landscape at the waterfall was incredible. Our pilot was Matt and he was AWESOME. Great sense of humor, broad knowledge of Hawaiian geography and culture, and a genuine love of the Big Island.
