We plan to go to Hawaii during Christmas time and want to take the helicopter tour. Do we need to book the tour in advance and how early?

We are still processing the beauty we saw. So much different to experience Hawaii by air!

We weren't quite sure what to expect, but my husband insisted on taking a helicopter tour of the island. We went with the Kohala Coast tour. The only way I can describe it is as Biblical. This is how I pictured earth in my bible stories from my childhood. I don't think there is a better way to see the full beauty. Blue Hawaiian has clean and modern aircraft. My nerves soon left me. The pilot was knowledgeable with island history and stories. He maneuvered that helicopter into some pretty awesome areas. Just pure beauty. We will definitely be back and taking another tour with Blue Hawaiian! A fantastic experience!

Excellent pilot, very knowledgeable and a great pilot. We took the 2 hour tour was well worth the money.

Just took our flight over the waterfalls and had an amazing experience! This is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. Highly recommended and can’t wait for our next time

The same minute We also had a one hour course and my wife slept It hurts my ears, so if you have motion sickness, please eat and ride The scenery is good, but that's all.

This was the most amazing experience ever. Our pilot Shane was super friendly and made the experience unbelievable. He had the perfect music selection to match what we were seeing at the time and he was very knowledgeable of the history. I highly recommend doing the landing at the waterfall. Breathe taking! It was amazing, the flight was very smooth, our pilot Shone was very nice, funny, and helped us with the information we needed, also the music was perfect, I loved it and definitely will recommend it to everyone I know.

It's a bit expensive, but be sure to get on the island of Hawaii. You can see the entire island of Hawaii from above. You can also land in a valley that you cannot reach by car. . It was a great event with good weather. There is also a Japanese pilot, so even if you are not good at English, it is safe.

Amazing

We had an amazing time on our Big Island Spectacular tour. The sights were incredible, our pilot was great and able to answer all our questions, and the check-in/preflight team were all friendly and helpful. We were a group of five, and everyone agreed it's been a highlight of our trip. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Hawaii.
