I was so lucky to have the opportunity to fly around the Big Island. It was incredible to see the island from that perspective. Kai, our pilot, was informational and funny! I would highly recommend flying with Blue Hawaiian--super professional and everyone associated with Blue Hawaiian was so nice!
Booked an amazing private custom tour with 8 people in 2 helicopters for 2&1/2 hours. Got to see a good portion of the island, with a surprise landing (for our guests) and a little picnic in the rain forest at the base of a 700+ foot waterfall. Several of the people in our group actually cried because they were so overwhelmed with the beauty and the splendor and excitement at the surprise. Office (Dave) was fabulous at working with me to plan the day. Crew at the take-off and landing point were wonderful and our pilots were fantastic. Due to weather, we could not fly over Kilauea volcano or Hilo, but the volcano currently is not erupting and has no lava in the caldera, so we weren't too disappointed. It was an AWESOME and AMAZING experience. 10 STARS.
It was an amazing experience! The pilot provided many warnings regarding directions to make everyone comfortable! I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!!
