Tour was great and we were overall pleased with the experience. There are a number of other companies that operate out of the same airfield and provide similar tours at a much lower cost. My wife gets much more nervous about flying than I do and wanted to pay the extra amount for the better/newer helicopter models that blue Hawaiian flies. Thus, we were fine with paying more. That said, I'm only giving this a 3-star rating because we were stuck in the back and on the pilot's side (which is on the far side for most of the trip). Seems a bit unfair considering we all paid the same amount and yet other people's seats were way better than ours. If I was doing this again, or if I was recommending this to others I would only suggest it if there is a fear of flying or if you were taking a family - otherwise I would likely save a lot and go with another company that's cheaper, and offers a better view. Some offer doors off or guarantee a front seat, etc. I personally don't see any safety concerns with other companies or helicopters but Blue Hawaiian definitely has better helicopters that are newer and bigger than all the others, and they've been dong this long enough to have a great reputation.

Aloha - Everything was absolutely fantastic! This was our gift to each other for our 30th wedding anniversary. Everything from check in to leaving our magical experience was spot on. We were in awe of the birds eye view you get of magical Oahu. A special mention to Fernando our pilot who was awesome and so full of knowledge. We can’t wait to see our personal video flight when we get home. Do yourselves a favour and book one of these flights- it is a must to do to create forever long memories that you will cherish - Muhalo

The sites are AMAZING!! The crew and pilot were very good we felt safe at all times absolutely loved it.

If you are sitting in the fence trying to decide if this is worth it, GET OFF THE FENCE NOW and book your reservation. This is such an amazing way to see the island. You are able to see places you cannot not see by land. We had a beautiful day and were even able to fly into the crater of the volcano!!

My husband and I did the Bis Island Spectacular Helicopter Tour with Shane- we paid for front row seats in the helicopter and for the waterfall landing. This tour was INCREDIBLE. Shane was knowledgeable and made the tour a true experience. My husband and I thought the waterfall stop was absolutely worth the extra cost.

Helicopter tour of Kauai was spectacular. Loved the soundtrack and option to buy the video from our fight. Truly the best way to see the island.

This a must do when in Honolulu. Amazing scenery. The approach to Pearl Harbour sent a shiver down my spine. Our pilot Fernando was excellent and pointed out all the sights. I usually suffer motion sickness. I took a tablet prior to departure and was fine the whole journey.

This is a MUST for a trip to Kuaui or Maui! Highly recommend the tour and company! Everything went smoothly and was beautiful!

From the get go, the staff were very focused on safety and ensuring we all knew the rules. After the formalities, we were made very comfortable and our very experienced pilot was extremely informative and we were soon bussing around the island. it is the best way to see the island, the flight was without incident, we felt safe at all times, and the views were spectacular. Highly recommend it, and if you can afford it, pay extra for a guaranteed front window seat, it's totally worth it.

Excellent tour of a part of Hawaii you normally won’t be able to see. Greg our pilot was amazing, calm and funny. A great memory for our anniversary trip.
