They seemed to do a good job, though we weren't fully informed about our seating arrangements inside the helicopter, which did matter to some extent. Instead, this review focuses on the claim that "taking a helicopter is a unique experience," which I found to be utterly misleading. Here's our experience: After hearing so much about helicopter tours, we decided to check with our hotel's activity desk. After gathering information, we felt it was overpriced, so we initially opted for a dinner cruise at $500+ for two people. However, we were persuaded to switch to the helicopter tour since it was touted as "a unique experience." The staff at Blue Hawaiian Activity was "nice enough" to offer us an "exceptional" deal of $800+ for the two "last seats," claiming that everything else was booked. To be honest, I felt deceived, as it wasn't made clear how much the seating arrangements mattered. The front seats were much better than the rear, and the left side offered better island views than the right, where we were seated. Was there anything special about the flight? Any exceptional experience? Absolutely not! I'd rate it a 2 out of 10. I understand that experiences are subjective, and maybe you're someone who doesn't mind spending a large sum of money. But if you're on a limited budget and value your money, here's my best advice: You're going to spend roughly $900 for something that's not breathtaking. Sure, you don't take helicopter tours often, but is it worth paying so much for? No! Let me give you an example: Imagine being told to pay $1,000 to taste a "very special" wine, only to find that it tastes slightly better than your regular $20+ bottle from Target. Would you do it? If you have $900 to spend, you could rent a convertible for a day or two, enjoy some great meals, have a few drinks, and/or arrange a new whole trip to Las vegas! Ultimately, I acknowledge that experiences are subjective. However, one thing is certain: this event is highly overpriced. It's not worth the cost, and the overwhelming advertisements are just propaganda pushing this "unique experience." Sorry, Blue Hawaiian Activity, but my honest opinion is that you deceived us into buying this costly tour that wasn't worth it. Now we have our "unique experience": Some experiences are expensive if you don't do your research! I hope that this review helps couples who feel pressured into choosing this so-called "unique and breathtaking" experience!

From the moment we walked into the office, it was clear how organised and professional Blue Hawaii Helicopters were. The safety video preflight was excellent, every single staff member was welcoming and happy. I am a super nervous flyer but all my fears disappeared the moment we lifted off. I was in awe of the scenery and the commentary given by our pilot Benjamin was great. The experience of a lifetime.
