Worth the price to see the volcano and waterfalls. Have flown at this location three times over a 20 year period. Each time was memorable. Get the DVD and take lots of pictures. My first time I got the VHS tape. Ha. Tour guides are excellent and generally enjoy their job. They are informative and personable. They will even swing the helicopter around to let you take pictures etc. Crew does a good job going over safety. Ignore the price. This is an experience you will never forget.

Excellent five-star service. It was my first time in a helicopter, but the pilot, Ryan, is fantastic and very calm in handling everything – highly recommended.

We had a party of 6 and flew with Blue Hawaiian on the Big Island. I thought we had a booking for the Friday flight however it was was the Thursday and we were still in downtown Kona (a 30 minute drive away). But as is the Island lifestyle we arrived for flight time an hour late but we were still able to head out on our flight mahalo to the of the staff at Blue Hawaian and mahalo to David at Kona Coast Vacations Concierge. We had an awesome flight with a private landing at waterfall location. I would recommend flying with Blue Hawaian helicopter tours as we have done on the 3 major islands, Oahu, Maui and Hawaii (aka The Big IslanD)

Great tour and way to see this huge island. Pilot Matt was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the island. Nearly two hours long so a good amount of time and pretty relaxing.

It was terrific. Our pilot, Chris, was really knowledgeable, calm, and reassuring! We had a blast!

This is it. The Ride of a lifetime. I expected a lot and it was way more at the end. The Price is high but the experience reward is even more. Don‘t think, do it! as Maverick says. Still goosebumps when I think about it.
