We did the Maui and Molokai Spectacular. It was amazing! The pilot, Tim was excellent at his job! Knowledgable and interactive with the kids. Would definitely recommend!

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was AhhhhMAAaaaaaZIiiiing! It was our -st hrlicoptor excursion. The views were breath-taking and the music fit perfect with the flight. Derek was a great & knowledgeable pilot. Can’t wait to do it again! 🌸~ MAHALO ~🌸

One of the best things we did at the Big Island! We've NEVER ridden a helicopter before and we flew with our 12 year old with Down syndrome who has sensory issues to loud noises. Honestly, most of our family didn't think he'd be able to join. BUT we showed him the video footage from Blue Hawaiian Helicopter's website to warm him up. Then, we called in advance and the company said we could come earlier and were so friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, we were greeted and Juliana in particular was so welcoming, patient, and understanding with us and our son. She made sure he had time to warm up and feel comfortable. Our pilot, Greg, was good! He was informative, friendly, and very patient with our son and family. We filled the helicopter. And we got to view some of the most breathtaking scenes of our lives.

I felt totally safe on my first helicopter experience in the Big Island many years ago. Then I tried an open door helicopter experience in Kauai and said I"d never get on another one- scary! I was back on the Big Island with 3 kids in tow and they begged to do a helicopter experience. I was hesitant, but after re reading my review decided to go for it. Unfortunately, by the time I decided we couldn't get a helicopter ride to see the volcano since it was active and that's when everyone wants to see it. Instead I booked a helicopter ride to see the island. They told us to get there an hour early to go thru safety procedures. 30 minutes would have been fine because it ended up being a lot of sitting around, but we make friends with their cat mascot. And then it was time for take off! I was a little nervous at first, but our pilot put me at ease within a few minutes. And it really was such a cool and gorgeous way to see the island! My kids seemed to think it was pretty cool too, although my youngest enjoyed talking into the microphone and annoying us the most. We landed safety, took a few pics and were excited that we were the very last flight of '24. I've now been on a total of 3 helicopter rides and would do it again, but think i'll hold off on anymore open door rides.

Had an unforgettable helicopter tour with our pilot, Hans. His navigation through the valleys and around the waterfalls was a work of art. Such an amazing experience to see and things from the sky. Thank you, Hans, and Blue Hawaiian!

Had our first ever helicopter experience here with Blue Hawaiian and James, our pilot. It was absolutely amazing. Super professional operation, felt entirely safe at all times. Would absolutely do again!
