The best helicopter tour you can enjoy! You really don’t experience Hawaii until you see it from above

Very Professional operation. Magnificent Vistas that cannot be seen anywhere else on Earth and the only way to see them on Kauai. I did 2 helicopter tours with Blue Hawaiian...the tour out of Hanalei provided more sightseeing time, since there was no "travel time* from Lihue Airport. Barrett was a Fantastic Pilot as a Native Kauaian with 20+ years experience. His flying and local knowledge provided the Ultimate Experience! Book this tour and don't be the guy who blames BH for weather and safety issues which might cause a cancellation - that is a risk with any air or sea excursion.

I loved my experience with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters! Mark was an excellent pilot and guide. I would recommend this experience to anyone seeking an adventure!

Blue Hawaiian was fantastic! We took the “Rings of Fire” tour starting out of Hilo on the Big Island. Our pilot was Wesley, and he was just the best: so personable and very knowledgeable. By happenstance, we were the only people on the aircraft - a private tour if you will. I think it was because of that lucky circumstance, that my 12-year-old son felt comfortable to ask a lot of questions. Wesley answered them all very patiently and kid-friendly. We couldn’t have had a better pilot. Wesley flew this top-of-the-line helicopter very smoothly. Often he took a second turn, with the object on the other side, so that all of us could have a good view. Of course, our kids, sitting in the two co-pilot seats with full glass windows in front of them, had the very best view. On the way back Wesley had a little surprise for us. Our kids found the helicopter tour the most impressive thing we did on Hawaii. I suggest , you buy the movie they offer. Wesley prepared the perfect playlist selection for the movie, always fitting to the landscape we were seeing. It’s a great memento. After the return, Julianna at the check-in counter gave us great dining recommendations in Hilo on my request. We went to Pineapple’s and the food was great. Thanks Julianna, it was a great way to end the day before we returned to Kona (our home base). If we do a helicopter tour again, we’ll definitely look for Blue Hawaiian again and will book with them.

It just rained and was a bit windy, but the pilot's flying skills are very good, very stable and comfortable, the explanation is very careful and comprehensive, and the music is also very good! The reception staff is also very enthusiastic, really happy flight journey!

We had an amazing time on Blue Hawaiian! Ethan was our pilot and not only was he knowledgeable about the area, but he was extremely friendly and personable. The crew who got us set up were all super nice too. The view of the vents/Kilauea, waterfalls, and lava flow were otherworldly. I highly recommend this tour if you’re on Big Island - will give you a totally different, unique perspective on the island itself.

Mark was a wonderful pilot during our tour. Very knowledgeable about the history of the land and pointing out the important sights. Aircraft was large and ride was smooth. Highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for your aerial touring needs!

The views where absolutely amazing. The pilot gives some history of the island and the volcanos. This is a great way to view the island like no other!!
