The wind was too strong to enjoy the flight and they should have known this and cancelled to rebook or refund. The 50 min flight is overpriced and the so called "Cadillac" of helicopters was anything but. I took a sightseeing helicopter flight on the big island with a different company and the helicopter itself was much smoother than the Blue Hawaiian helicopter. The pilot was very nice and provided a good tour. The view from the front of the helicopter is great but they charge a premium for it. I wish that I could have enjoyed it. The scenery is beautiful, but you should expect a jolting bumpy ride. I think the promo videos showing a smooth flight are deceiving. My one complaint about the pilot was that he did not give the right side (my side) of the helicopter a good view of Jurassic Falls.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours is a phenomenal way to enjoy the island. Pilot Greg was amazing! We will definitely do this again!

Our tour was fantastic! We saw so much of the island, got a bonus pod of dolphins, landed by the waterfall — and learned so much about Captain Cook!
