Really enjoyed the pilot and his time spent pointing out waterfalls, and explaining the difference of the lava. The tours around the volcanos were interesting and enjoyable. Definitly needed the helicopter to see the lava. Enjoyed by entire party.

We had an excellent flight. Eric was our pilot and he was awesome. Told great stories and helped put us all at ease. I highly recommend the Maui Spectacular. The touchdown halfway through the flight really breaks up the trip and gives a beautiful viewpoint from high on the mountains of Maui. The only negatives that I take away from the trip was that our first flight was cancelled due to weather so we had to come back the next day. That is of no fault to Blue Hawaiian however. Also, the DVD recorder did not work properly, so we only got half of our trip on video. Obviously, this was a big disappointment as it is unlikely we will get to come back here again while our kids are still kids. However, Blue Hawaiian was nice enough to give us what did record for free. We would definitely fly Blue Hawaiian again.
It was a very beautiful site to see!! We did the Maui spectacular! We loved our pilot Eric he was very fun and informative! The stop on the ranch was ammzzingg and we didnt think we would make it through the trip without that stop it was so awesome and perfect for some great pictures! We had a wonderful time, and had the best service, and all the employees were very nice. It was so cool and such a great experience and i would highly recommend it to see!

Spectatular views of Kilauwea! Our first view of active lava. Our pilot Ray was very informative and entertaining. We were also impressed with the safety and professionalism of the entire Blue Hawaiian team.
The helicoptor tour was awesome. We did the waterfall tour and got to see some amazing valleys. Highly recommend this activity in Hawaii. By the way Dave was our pilot and he was awesome as well, so ask for him!
