The only way to see the entire island and the volcano region. Never get any closer to the active flows and vents. Plus is the Kohala valleys that are completely isolated with their stunning waterfalls and sea cliffs.
Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for us to see the crater itself, but other than that, the flight was beautiful and Blue Hawaiian "birds" are the way to go. I wish that I could have sat to be able to lipread the pilot better -- Pilot Roger had so much to say and he rocks!!! Having the safety dvd captioned/subtitled was also fantastic for those of us that are hearing impaired. Thanks!!

The ride was really great to get all around the Island as a start. Then to see some of the places we had already been from the air was just beautiful to see. Would reccomend this trip to anyone coming to this or any of the other islands.

Geoff was a great pilot, incredible guide and you can tell that he loves the land where he was born and raised. The whole experience was first rate and definitely recommendable to anyone. There is so much to experience that it's hard to take it all in with one trip - I can't wait to come back and do it again...

We loved the LAVA!!! I loved the flight and the passes over the Lava feilds.(Emily) The Lava was cool!!! (Dylan) This is our second trip with Blue Hawaii and again it was a great experience and we would recommend it to our friends. (Jodie & Lyndon)

Roger did a great job. Great experience. Though back right window seat view was obscured by frame and it was more difficult to get a good angle of sights.
