The trip was absolutely more beautiful than expected! The volcano was actually producing lava that was shooting up in the air! Our pilot, Grant allowed us several opportunities to view the amazing lava. The waterfalls were gorgeous and weather perfect. Could not have asked for a better trip!! Blue Hawaiian Helicopters were very professional. They called the day prior and even picked us up at the hotel. A must do in Hawaii--well worth the price!

Our pilot Scott made it an awesome and entertaining adventure. From the Hawaii Five-O theme music in our headsets to the fun facts about lava and the legend of Pele and the Lehua tree, we laughed, we oooed and ahhhed our way around the lava tubes, splatter craters and water falls. The Ecostar helicopter was smooth, ultra quiet and spacious--we sat in the front seats and had an unobstructed view of everything 180 degrees horizontally and vertically. Worth every penny. We were thrilled with the experience. So glad we did it. The high point of our trip so far.

Scott was an outstanding pilot and very informative.
We appreciate the clear safety guides from the ground crew. They guided us where to stand, where to walk, and helped us into and out of our seats. The pilot, Coleen, was wonderful. She pointed out sites, left and right, addressed passengers by name, identified ground features and the geologic and cultural history of the regions in view. The pilot focused on providing a satisfying experience for her passengers - a steady even flight, circling features left and right so all could see.
Our trip was quite lovely. Brian and Geoffry were great. We really enjoyed our time.
First chopper ride ever and this was outstanding. Scott our piolet, did a great narration and was well informed on the Island.

We had a great experience with the staff members. Brian was humorous and friendly. Pilot Geoff was informative; he talked the right amount of time for us to enjoy the spectacular scenery.
