Brandon was our pilot/tour guide. There were spectacular views and he was full of information! I would recommend Blue Hawaiian most definitely for their fantastic service. Beautiful tour. Overall, a positive experience. I followed directions by wearing dark clothing to reduce glare, but the woman in front of me wore a bright, neon shirt that ruined my view and picture-taking ability at several points during the flight (her window was much bigger than mine and provided much of my view). I would recommend providing a dark apron or something and requiring that it be worn for all passengers who are not already wearing dark clothing. This was a very negative part of my experience and the woman's bright shirt greatly hampered my view but didn't seem to hamper her view at all since she had such a large window. I also recommend selling AA batteries in your gift shop (my camera batteries were low and I would have bought them if available). The vertical straps on the seatbelt were uncomfortable and scratched up my neck. I was disappointed that the video of our flight did not come out well (the color was off).

This trip was awesome and worth getting up early to see as much as we did. The valleys and waterfalls are breathtaking and was really cool to see a lava flow, since it was too foggy at the park when we were there. John is a great pilot and narrator and we learned a lot in just 2 hours! Highly recommend! Thank you so much!
Lots of thanks to the great pilot! We also were lucky enough to see the top of mount Wai'ale'ale! Unfortunately our seats on the helicopter weren't optimal, but we still had good views since the pilot turned a lot to give all passengers the chance for a nice glimpse : ) Mahalo!!!

My Husband was experienced as a passenger in being a helicopter passenger in the Military but this was my first flight. I was very nervous but I have to say this flight was fantastic! We both thought is was informative, exciting, fun & a very smooth ride. I was instantly comfortable right after take off. I wish I would have done it sooner! We both throughtly enjoied the ride & would highly recommend to anyone considering to do an activity. You would love it. John our pilot is an excellent pilot. All seats are a great view but we got lucky to sit in front. Thanks to Blue Hawaii for an excellent experience!
Unfortunately the weather was partly overcast, but the flight with Brad was outstanding. The views of the island were spectacular. I would like to repeat the flight sometime when the weather is a little more cooperative, but it was a wonderful flight
