Enjoyed the many views accompanied by the pilot's comments. He was extermely knowleagable about the lava flows and the city of Hilo and surrounding areas.

Glenda was fantastic. She was calm and explained different features of the island. She answered all of our questions. She flew us over two whales! I liked the way she flew the copter smooth.
It was awesome because we have seen water falls, whales, and I really really liked it.
really cool, we saw so much better from an helicopter than from a trail. we also saw a group of wale. the fact that we were above them permitted us to see them way better than from a boat. I really loved it
It was really an awesome experience. I was really excited, and surprised that we could see whales from the helicopter. Finally, I was amazed by the number of waterfalls in the canyon.

This was the best helicopter tour I've experienced. Julie is a great pilot. The ground crew was outstanding! I will definitely recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to anyone.
Pilot Mark was very informative. Did a nice job calling out the various landmarks and history of the area. We were a little disappointed that we didn't see more lava on the circle of fire tour. Wish we could've flown lower to the ground when viewing the smoking spots of the lava tubes near the forest. Overall, a unique experience, but our expectations may have been a little higher based on what is shown and described in brochures and on website.
