We had a wonderful time. ready to do it again. Our pilot Tom was friendly and very knowledgeable. For myself though the music was too loud I had trouble hearing Tom and our co-passengers. We saw two whales! The waterfalls were awesome! This is the best way to tour the island.
Thank you for a great trip! Eric was our pilot and it was a very comfortable flight. He was very clear about sharing information and concerned for all passengers aboard. Great job, Eric! just a side note...it would have improved tour to have further Native Hawaiian and cultural facts shared, though I know Eric is relatively new to Hawaii. It would be great to hear the names and places, maybe legends related to volcano sights and waterfalls. nonetheless, it was a memorable experience seeing our aina from above! we appreciate it! Although a few members of our party were initially a little nervous, Mike did such a great job that it was impossible to stay that way for very long. An amazing and unforgettable hour and a half, and we are very grateful to have had such an experience with such a great pilot.
