We have taken both the Big Island Spectacular and the Circle of Fire tour. We would highly recommend either. The pilots are informative and try their hardest to get you the best views!
Nate took us to several surface flows where the Lava was clearly visible and an active cone. Spectacular flight and great narrative.
This was my first time in a helicopter and it was amazing! Our pilot Glenda was so kind, knowledgeable and gave us such interesting facts about what we were seeing! I loved seeing all the places that we could never have seen because there is no access by land...this gave me such pleasure! My sister and I will recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters...and our pilot Glenda to all of our friends who might venture to Maui in the future! Mahalo! Mahalo! Mahalo!!

Great Flight with a creative pilot Greg who showed us both active volcanoes on a beautiful clear day...gives a great perspective on how they are currently behaving with a high visibility chopper!

We had a wonderful time. ready to do it again. Our pilot Tom was friendly and very knowledgeable. For myself though the music was too loud I had trouble hearing Tom and our co-passengers. We saw two whales! The waterfalls were awesome! This is the best way to tour the island.
Thank you for a great trip! Eric was our pilot and it was a very comfortable flight. He was very clear about sharing information and concerned for all passengers aboard. Great job, Eric! just a side note...it would have improved tour to have further Native Hawaiian and cultural facts shared, though I know Eric is relatively new to Hawaii. It would be great to hear the names and places, maybe legends related to volcano sights and waterfalls. nonetheless, it was a memorable experience seeing our aina from above! we appreciate it! Although a few members of our party were initially a little nervous, Mike did such a great job that it was impossible to stay that way for very long. An amazing and unforgettable hour and a half, and we are very grateful to have had such an experience with such a great pilot.
