I was a tad hesitant to go but it was just WONDERFUL and I highly recommend the helicopter trip. We had 3 year old and 5 year old boys with us and they were mesmerized!

Our pilot was Julie. It sounds like she doesn't normally do the Big Island tours and may have been filling in, but she did an amazing job. We made multiple passes in both directions so everyone could get a good view.
Ethan was a great tour guide. He made sure both sides of the helicopter could see the things he was pointing out. He called us by name and asked where we were from and what brought us here today.
Thoroughly enjoyed - great pilot and fascinating information and views of this spectacular island.
