Amazing tour! It would have been better and even more awesome if we could fly closer to the crater and the lava flow into the ocean.

It was really a great experience. Pilot Greg was very nice and knowledgeable. Got to see the caldera and lava falling into the ocean. Would recommend it for sure to anyone in Hilo, Big island.

Great Trip. Worth it
I got disabled a year ago and there were things I didn't think I'd be able to do again. Blue Hawaiian tours have been amazing in making this possible and I cannot thank you enough!!! Chris was brilliant! I loved the way he made me feel good about my disability before the flight, thank you, Chris!! During the flight he was such a good pilot and guide by not only pointing out everything important to see but also making sure everyone had a good view of it. Great explanation of things and paying attention to everyone on board made it a great experience for everyone!

Tim provided a very informative, smooth and exciting Big Island tour! We enjoyed the historical and scientific background detail that he shared in explanations of the island's formations and current status. His music added a nice background to our spectacular views and excellent aviation.
An unforgettable experience. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the view and the thrill of seeing actual lava from above and the contrast with the waterfalls in the later part of the flight. Our pilot, Ethan, was relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure the people on each side of the helicopter had ample opportunity to see and photograph the sights. The EcoStar ride was smooth. Loved the music in the noise-cancelling headsets! So glad we did this!
