Amazing trip with outstanding pilot named Toshi. Toshi provides a ton of information about what you see and keeps you laughing. The views are unbelievable from above. Amazing view of the lava especially as it flows into the ocean. You have to see the waterfalls in person to understand how beautiful they are as words won't do them justice. The price for the tour seems too high until you experience the trip. Well worth every penny. If on the big Island this is a must excursion.

I was really impressed with our pilot, Wesley. Not only was he entertaining and full of information but he was very skilled with that helicopter. It was cloudy and not a great day for sight seeing but he managed to get us some really good views of the volcano crater and the lava flowing into the ocean.

We booked a trip with Blue Hawaiian in advance of our vacation. Everything was very easy to find at the airport. Our pilot, Wesley, was knowledgeable about everything he was showing us, and did a great job trying to engage everyone on our trip in conversation. Unfortunately, most people didn't speak fluent English, so we had the added benefit of lots of conversation with him! We saw the crops being grown on the island, we saw a lot of the volcanoes and some open lava, and then we circled over some waterfalls before circling over the coast to see if we could see any whales in the area. We would definitely do the Circle of Fire tour, or another one, again.

We did the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour as part of our Kapokohine package but I still wanted to give a big shoutout to our fabulous helicopter company, Blue Hawaiian. What a professional and safe ride we received from our Captain, Tim. We felt so safe in his capable hands. We saw the erupting volcano and where the magma flows into the ocean. We saw the island from a fun and exhilarating vantage point. All was well organized and on time. We highly recommend this company and this tour!

Our pilot was very personable and knowledgable. Great views of hidden waterfalls and the volcano. Felt safe and relaxed, especially for first flyers. Organized, punctual and professional. Good value and a "must do" at least once for the experience.

We did a 2 hour tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters yesterday and had a fantastic time! Our pilot, Shane, really made the trip extra special. He was very knowledgeable about the area, tried really hard to make sure we had good views of the lava activity and his DJ skills brought our tour to a whole new level. He had music to fit every mood, we took off to a James Bond theme song, had pulse pumping music over the lava and soothing music through the waterfalls in the valley. Blue Hawaiian uses Bose noise cancelling headphones so you don't hear the noise of the chopper blades at all - a huge plus. We were lucky enough to be able to fly up and see the snow up close on Mauna Kea but our kids (11&14) didn't feel very well at the higher elevation, they felt a lot better when we went down a few thousand feet. A great way to see the diversity of the big island!

This was a spectacular experience. Our pilot Kristy was lovely, very professional without being dull. If you get the chance do it.

We had a fantastic tour on the blue Hawaiian helicopter. A bit of confusion with the scheduling and check in process, but the tour was amazing! Our pilot was Kristie. She was so very much fun and very informative. Made us feel very comfortable since this was our first helicopter ride. We had great clear weather and we're able to see everything.

This would have to be one of the best things I have ever done. I was so scared at the start but the pilot was so calm and professional that I soon forgot about it within seconds of being up in the air. the scenery was breathtaking and with the music playing in our headsets it was like an out of thesuingcthe music

We are very lucky to see lava going to ocean! When lava hit the ocean, it generated a very thick steam. We were lucky the wind was blowing the thick steam away from the lava. We saw more than 20 red, glowing lava flowing into ocean. What a view! Our pilot, Greg was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our trip thoroughly.

Awesome! We went on our last day and it was a fantastic way to finish our holiday. Our pilot Kristi was great, making sure both sides of the chopper got the views. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

We were a little nervous about the ride. Would now recommend this ride to anyone! It was great & would not hestitate to go again. Beautiful, beautiful sites! Rode October 2016.

I am a safety professional and I will admit that I was really afraid of doing a helicopter tour of anything. My family convinced me it was a "must do" on Kauai and I'm really glad that they did. I was super attentive to all things safety as we prepared to board and Blue Hawaiian did a great job with orientation and explaining what we needed to know to be safe during the trip. The helicopter seemed to be in excellent condition too. And, during the trip the pilot was very good about letting us know what was happening (for example, if the wind would cause a little wiggle). Oh, and the scenery was amazing too! The title says it all - so very glad we did this trip.

We booked a tour with Blue Hawaiian at the last minute because other company cancelled our reservation the day before the flight. We are glad how things turned out! Blue Hawaiian is a very organized, professional and family friendly activity. Our child loved the helicopter ride, the impressive views and said will never forget this trip.
