Great Staff. Very good pilot. looked like we were so close to mountain sides we could reach out and touch them. If you are planning a Helicopter tour I recommend Blue Hawaiian.

Not worth the money if you plan to do Whole Maui Island tour. I agree with another reviewer in that the pilot was bored. We saw the perimeter of the island and few waterfalls in distance. I couldn't see the coast line since I was seated next to the window on the mountain side. Save your money and do one of the smaller flights on the east side of the island only. Perhaps then they would take time to show you some of the classic waterfalls I was expecting

Absolutely loved our Tour! Chris our pilot was awesome. Very nice and great to talk to. We did the West Maui-Molokaʻi tour. They brought us to see the world's tallest sea cliffs. I would definitely recommend taking this tour. It was stunning! I can't put into words how amazing it was. No matter what videos you watch or pictures you see. Seeing it in person is far more fantastic! Thank you Blue Hawaiian Helicopters! Again Chris our pilot was awesome!

Awesome. We had a great pilot (Rick Bass) and had a great tour. Yes, you will pay a good amount, but it was an amazing time and I will certainly do it again.

The West Maui and Molokai tour was definitely worth the money. We did it on our first day in Maui and it gave us a good overview of the island. The only way to see Molokai is with a helicopter tour, incredible!

My son and I took a flight over Molokai on Blue Hawaiian. It was so awesome! Our pilot Glenda was the best! The flight was fantastic, the view was incredible and the whole experience was unforgettable. I can say that if you are living on Maui or just visiting, this is a MUST DO here. There is nothing like the view from the top! Thanks Blue Hawaiian! I hope to be back for another anniversary flight in June :)

Awesome experience

Can you really put the experience of a helicopter ride around west Maui and Molokai into words? That's a real challenge, because it was amazing. Glenda was our pilot, and she gave us a whole new perspective on the stunning natural beauty of these islands. Highly recommended.

Ethan the pilot was great. Views are great. Middle seats on the copter diminish the experience though.

A video might cost more than you think. The easy-to-see sign next to the register advertising a video for $25 is not of your ride. That price is for a montage video of other flights, the likes of which are readily available on the Internet. Your ride video will cost over $40 and 15 minutes more of your time (they must use the slowest media possible). Despite the cashier referring to your video as a DVD, it is actually either a file on an 8GB flash drive or Blue Ray disc., the latter being snail-mailed to you at a later date.

An awesome experience. Our pilot, Dale, did a great job showing us all the lava flows and stopping to circle something we saw, whether it was a whale or a violent vent. Oh, and the valley and the beautiful waterfall! Dale let us feel we can touch the waterfall and the grass.! Amazing! And the turbulence wasn't even that bad! We highly recommend for everyone!

We took the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour May 2, 2015. We chose the Big Island Spectacular in the Eco-Star. Our pilot Toshi was EXCELLENT! Our tour was 2 hrs. of awesomeness! We flew over the volcanic badlands, Madame Pele's lava & the beautiful rainforests and the Hamakua Coast. The tropical valleys of the Kahala Mountains were spectactular! This tour was worth every penny spent! DO NOT MISS THIS!!!

Very expensive, about 220 per person but well worth it. Our pilot, Colleen in Hilo, was very knowledgeable about the geography and history of the island.
