Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is a great company with wonderful customer service. Your satisfaction is their goal. From the greeters to the ground crew and pilot all was accomplished in a profession manner. We had a fantastic trip over the volcano, viewing the lava flows and the Hilo scenery to and from. Captain Scott (Red-Beard) was absolutely the BEST!

Really want to see an active volcano? Volcano National Park is good, but limited to where you can go and see activity. Watching from a boat is closer but limited to the end of the flow plus choppy seas, limited time and it's not cheap. For the money Blue Hawaiian provided a great aerial tour with commentary that is hard to bear. Nice helicopters with expert pilots make this a great experience. If you don't mind dropping a few bucks it's a great once in a lifetime experience. Decent local discounts for HI residents make it more affordable. So grab your Auntie, bruda or sista and see the lava flow from the sea to the top of the caldera.

My wife and I went on a tour on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. We were really impressed and enjoyed our time in the air with our enthusiastic, knowledgable pilot Greg O! They had to cancel the volcano and waterfall landing due to inclement weather but we were still able to fly along the coast and go into the awe inspiring valley with several enormous waterfalls within it. Gorgeous views and amazing experience even with the shotty weather!

My husband and I did the 45 minute tour of Oahu and it was absolutely fantastic! We saw waterfalls, two Whales, manta rays plus all of the beautiful beaches and major sits. I think our pilot said his name was Laurence, he was excellent an ex Military black hawk pilot. Couldn't recommend this enough.

If you're in Kauai this is a must do! We had Trevor as our pilot and he was amazing. Very knowledgable about Kauai, Trevor gave us a guided tour of all of the must sees on the island. The views are incredible !

Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour of Kauai was excellent and great fun. Our pilot Marty was knowledgeable about the island, his craft and how to anticipate what his passengers were experiencing. We learned about the islands history and enjoyed the beauty of the islands unique topography. I was amazed at how we got close to water falls that inhabited the many canyons.

Like I said, I can't say enough good things! I had decided on another company that was slightly less expensive and then my husband convinced me to go with Blue Hawaiian based on reviews. And wow am I glad we did! I mentioned in my reservation that we were on our honeymoon and seeing Hawaii for the first time and they graciously gave us the two front seats. Which was amazing! Our pilot (Barett, I think- sorry it's been a few weeks!) was so personable and kept the whole thing very personalized. I basically need a glass of wine or an Ativan when I fly in a plane so I thought I'd be a mess but I wasn't nervous at all. Once you are 50 ft up seeing all this amazing beauty, you basically have no mental energy to concentrate on nerves. This was the best part of my trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My husband and I have talked about going back to Maui and using Blue Hawaiian there as well. Would recommend to literally everyone who visits Kauai!

One of the most enjoyable days of our holiday, my wife paid for my helicopter trip as a 50th birthday present and I was not disappointed. Friendly and knowledgeable pilot made it very interesting, the views were stunning and I have watched the DVD several times since! Can't recommend the tour highly enough!!

I convince my wife to take this helicopter ride, she was 6.5 month pregnant and doens't love to flight. Once we finished she wanted to go back!!. The views are amazing and there is no other better way to see, enjoy and understand the island. New helicopter and great service.

We had a party of 6 and were all in the same helicopter. It was very comfortable. Pilot Marty was excellent. He showed us the sights throughout the island and had recommendations for fun activities. He also provided interesting narrative throughout the flight. I would recommend doing this one of your first days there so you can plan the rest of your trip based on what you see and his recommendations. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

My wife and I took the Kauai tour on May 6. This is the best way to see the island (most of it has no roads). We thought the pilot, Barrett, was excellent. He was very personable and made us feel comfortable. Plus, he is an island native, having grown up on Kauai, so it was really nice to get his perspective while we were flying over the island. I also thought Barrett as a pilot was very adept at giving everyone a good view of every important sight along the way. Especially the waterfalls, which are spectacular, and the Nepali Coast. It was certainly a rewarding adventure.

Barrett was our pilot and he did a great job. Very exciting to watch the chopper arrive to take us on the tour. Great way to see the valley and the Na Pali Coast. Check-in was easy and the safety briefing very quick.

Awesome!! Our first real helicopter adventure. Great staff, great experience. Our pilot Garrett provided an outstanding memory for us. Very Professional, Somehow the Big Kahuna blessed us front row seating. Can't wait to fly Blue Hawaiian again in the other islands. I would highly recommend flying Blue Hawaiian. Ono!! Best way to see the island. See Jurassic falls and the Napoli coast. Breath taking. Smooth ride with a great pilot. Would definitely co sister a rebook in the future. Seating assignments are random so if you expect to get the first row seats be advised. But the cabins have big windows and he pilots make a lot of effort to make sure both sides see the sights !!
