My wife and I took the Big Island Spectacular tour and had the best time! Our pilot/guide, Dale, was engaging and made the flight even more enjoyable. We were able to see the lava in the volcano, watch the lava enter the Pacific and venture into valleys to see some of the most breathtaking waterfalls. I can't sing high enough praises for the tour, because it truly was one of the most magnificent things I've ever experienced. Warmest Mahalo to Blue Hawaiian!

I went last minute with my 2 teenagers yesterday. One of the best experiences. Beautiful views . Loren our pilot was awesome right down to his playlist as we went thru all the historical sites.... Friendly staff & safe which was my number one priority. What a way to end our last day of vacation ... Highly recommend if you can fit it in. Maria. Aloha

I can't say enough about our incredible experience. Our pilot, Scott, was wonderful. He gave awesome information and shared favorite hideaways only viewed by air. If you have a chance to visit Kauai, make Blue Hawaiian Helicopters a must do on your trip. You'll be amazed by the beauty of this island. We had taken several drives to locations throughout the island and then got to experience those plus many more on this 50 minute tour. The best dollars spent on the island!

I chose Blue Hawaiian for my helicopter tour in Kauai and was not disappointed. I chose Blue Hawaiian because it has newer helicopters and larger windows than other tour companies. This helicopter tour will give you views of the Island that you would otherwise not be able to witness. There is so much beauty that can only be seen by helicopter. It truly was an amazing experience. Pilot Brodi did such a great job guiding us and explaining the history of the Island. Would highly recommend. I also did a helicopter tour in Maui but this one was truly unforgettable.

The whole experience was fantastic. This was out first time in a helicopter and everything was done in a professional way by Blue Helicopter. The take off and landing are surprisingly smooth. Helicopters are nice and spacious with air conditioning. Our pilot was Shay, who was very accommodating and did whatever he could to ensure we got great information and the best photo opportunities. The DVDs that are available for purchase are crystal clear and a great plus. I would highly recommend Blue Helicopter for your helicopter experience in Hawaii!

You are in Kauai - open up your wallet and stay a while :) This is for sure a bucket list type of activity but well worth it. The pilots are so personable and make you feel at ease - especially if you've never been in a copter before. I got the front row seat due to my weight and it was unreal. One of the best things we did. I believe they are on Maui too but Kauai is so lush and green I highly recommend seeing it from the sky. The waterfalls alone are amazing. Da plane Da plane! They fly you over where South Pacific was filmed back in the day. The North Shore is one of the most stunning places you will ever see with your eyes - can only be truly appreciated from the sky. Trust me. Make sure to shoot some video while you are up there! Unforgettable once in a lifetime. Blue Hawaiian is the real deal.

The staff was great to work with and did a very nice job answering questions & providing a fantastic experience for everyone. The pilot was very friendly and did a nice job narrating the tour. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR DARK CLOTHES! I wore a dark shirt as suggested but was disappointed when I got glare off of the flotation belt they give you & even from my socks!

Fantastic magic carpet ride around Kauai. Very professional company and aircraft. The pilots give a great commentary of the islands features. Scott H was a very professional and friendly pilot.

This is absolutely the best way to experience Kauai. Blue Hawaiian is very organized and sends out three tours on the half hour. Our pilot was Greg, who did a great job and was very personable. The pilots are very experienced and know just where to go to get the best views. Greg even did a 360 rainbow for us. Even though it was raining on and off, he still got us in to see great views, including the beautiful interior of the crater. We had done this trip before years ago, but I was impressed with the efficiency and ease of their operation. If you are in Kauai, this is a must do! There is so much of the island you can only see by this method (although I also highly recommend a boat tour out of Hanalei of the Na Pali coast as well). We purchased the video that the company makes of your tour, I was surprised that the pilots switch cameras during the flight to show interior of the helicopter with passengers and mostly what is going on outside. It is a great souvenir! Kudos to the entire staff, which made it a very pleasant experience, even for my nervous 11 year old.

I'm finding helicopter tours to be a consistent trip highlight and Blue Hawaiian at Kaua'i was even more exceptional. Gregg our pilot/guide was fantastic. There is so much to see and learn and Gregg barely paused. You see the entire island and on many aspects from the best perspective. Highly recommended!

On our honeymoon, my wife and I wanted a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and boy did we get it! We saw everything!! We saw all the major natural features on Kauai - Weimea Canyon, the Na Pali Coast, the beaches, etc. - all within an hour. It's almost too much to take in with your eyes. There is so much to see. It had rained that day, and we flew through some rain in some areas, so we must have seen over 50 waterfalls. The Blue Hawaiian staff are really friendly and helpful, so just follow their directions and you'll be fine. Our pilot, Scotty, was really knowledgeable and had a soothing way about him. Although we had some turbulence in some spots during the flight, we felt we were in good hands. Overall, the ride was smooth and not at all like a rollercoaster. This is a definite must-do!

We were initially reluctant to book a helicopter ride while in Kauai for our family but I'm glad I caved. We thoroughly enjoyed our 50 minute tour with Marty our pilot. It was fascinating to view this magnificent island and its diverse terrain, steep cliffs and lush vegetation from up above. The ride was pleasant and smooth. The Hawaiian music playing on our headsets while listening to Marty talk added to the experience. I highly recommend.

Wow, what a way to see and learn about the island! We flew with Marty in Kauai and he was an experienced pilot with tons of knowledge. It was so amazing to see and fly into the canyons and craters and then later on the trip go hike them and drive the roads and float on the boats off the coast. I suggest the tour early on the trip to get a good feel for the island then explore!

This would have to be one of the best things that I have done on this planet. Flying over a live volcano and seeing lava flowing into the sea. Greg, our pilot was incredible. Thanks mate. This tour is worth every cent and should be a must for everyone visiting Hilo.

Though pricey, The Big Island Spectacular Tour with the Eco Star helicopter ride was certainly worth it for me and my husband. It was my first helicopter ride ever and I was nervous, but the ride was super stable, and the pilot was friendly and helpful. They offer to put the recorded tour on a USB drive for a fee. We got that and were happy to be able to relive the exciting moments. The only complaint i had was the front desk -- the girl who was responsible for transferring our footage onto the USB drive sorta messed up the order. We were the first one from our tour to order the USB, but somehow we were the last ones to receive the drive because she likely gave the first drive to the other passengers with us. The other passengers took their time outside after the ride taking pictures, so we felt it was quite unfair we had to wait much longer since we went in right after we got off the ride. :-( We were told it'd take 45 mins or so, and we went back after an hour, and still had to wait another 20 mins. :-( Perhaps they should consider getting some faster transfer speed USB drives too.
