It's a little pricey but well worth it. The views are amazing. And our pilot was excellent and very informative. We were able to show flowing and bubbling lava. Amazing!

This is one of the best $500 I've spent in my life. The experience is indescribable and the ride was so smooth. It's like flying on a magic carpet, the views are something that you only experience once in a lifetime. Shay, our pilot was great. He really enjoys his job and he provided an awesome experience. I'm not really for touristy stuff, but this is one you can't miss.

Very friendly and polite staff. Great pilot, fun and knowledgeable. Tour was fantastic. Beautiful scenery. Smooth ride, immaculate helicopter and facility. Very safety conscious. Wear dark clothes for the ride so there isn't any glare for taking pictures. They make you change into a dark tee shirt if you have light color tops on or a shiny top. Worth every penny.

6 passenger heli tour lasted 55 mins and had spectacular aerial views of Kauai. Thunderstorms the previous night resulted in hundreds of waterfalls visible during the flight. Highly recommend this activity and company!

We booked this trip after hearing from several people to do a helicopter tour in Kauai and this did not disappoint- in fact, it was probably our favorite experience while in Hawaii! Kauai is such a beautiful island and we were really able to see it all while on this tour. Everything was very easy- friendly staff, a very comfortable flight, our pilot Scott was great, and the views from the air were unparalleled. I can't highly recommend something more!

I have to highly recommend Blue Hawaiian because the helicopters are spacious and comfortable. The pilots are knowledgeable and friendly. The views are breathtaking and as long as you are o.k. with heights and large windows you will love it. So much to see from above that you won't see otherwise. You have to do this if at all possible. You won't regret it. I have to admit it does cost but...it will be truly memorable.

Booked online with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Bookng was very easy and the various flight packages were very well described along with pictures of what to expect. Arriving at their site, we were very impressed with their premises - we were greeted and checked in immediately and made very, very welcome. They even had refreshments and a nice sitting area to wait in before your safety briefing and short video of what to expect. My wife was very nervous and the staff were very good with her. Our assigned pilot, Miguel, was also very attentive, personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the island and the sights he took us over. We thoroughly enjoyed our 55-minute flight and would book with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters again anytime! We absolutely recommend them.

This is a first-class, well run helicopter service, and the best way possible to really see Kauai, which is one of the most beautiful places on earth. After a check-in, weigh-in (and you don't even know they're weighing you), and short briefing on safety and other information in a group, you are assigned your seat and pilot and board the helicopter in an orderly manner, while someone makes sure all seatbelts are secure and headsets work, so each passenger can hear the pilot at all times. Our pilot was knowledgeable, friendly, and comforting to a passenger who was a bit concerned. The concern didn't last long, as we began to see amazing beauty. We took off to the theme from Hawaii 5-0 in our headsets, which was so much fun! Every seat is a good seat, and there is so much glass that there are views in every direction. The pilot turns the copter to show everyone the huge waterfalls, the canyons, the Na'Pali coast, ancient burial grounds, the crater, etc. They are magnificent! Because of the round shape of the glass, my husband, who is a professional photographer, did have a little trouble getting the quality pictures he wanted due to some glare. I, on the other hand, was thrilled with my photos, even though there is some glare in a few of them (not all). If you want to feel safe and comfortable and just enjoy a fantastic experience while learning about the island, take this tour. We loved the video of our tour and bought it on a hard drive. If you can only do one thing while you're on Kauai, take this tour!

Today my family went out to Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours. It was fun and interesting. We saw the Na Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon, Jurassic Park falls and many more. I would definitely come back.

I took the family with four kids 9-17 years old. First time in a helicopter for everyone. Incredibly cool way to see all the island's landscapes, Na Pali coast, crater and many waterfalls. Glad we did it but I don't think the kids will want to do it again. Our pilot Brad was excellent and we appreciated all his insightful comments.

Let me begin with how terrified I was to go up in a helicopter. I was talked into this by my husband and friends telling me if I didn't go with them I would regret it. How absolutely right they were! I was so nervous lifting off but our pilot Marty was awesome and I felt comfortable right away. As soon as we were in the air I was able to focus on the amazing views, there is truly no better way to see the island!I even bought the motion sickness pack....never needed it. So, if your nervous about flying, do it anyway, it was amazing!

Great excursion! Exciting and informative. The staff and pilot are very patient and organized. This was one of the best excursions my husband and I went on for our honeymoon. Don't skip the helicopter tour!!

We did some amazing activities while we were in Hawaii, but this the most spectacular thing I did the whole vacation! We took our 4 children (17, 15, 12, and 3 1/2) on this helicopter tour! Everyone was thrilled. I was shocked at how much even the three year old got into it and understood what was being said to him (well, until he fell asleep!) There was a great view from every seat! Our pilot, Wesley, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and such a nice guy. There is nothing in the world like flying over a live volcano and watching it bubble like soup in a pot! WOW! Everyone should do this tour! It's a once in a lifetime experience. We did the short tour, but I wish we had signed up for the longer tour!

I was a little trepidatious about taking a flight on a helicopter but I figured that it might be my only chance so I was going to give it a shot. Blue Hawaiian was recommended by the concierge in my hotel so I went ahead and booked and I am so happy that I did! I was lucky enough to get a seat in the front and was able to see what was going on while he was flying. Our pilot, Brennan, was awesome and I felt safe the entire time. The take off and landing were smooth despite the fact that it was very windy that day. He grew up on the island and was able to add to the narrative regarding the island and what we were seeing. The weather was kind of lousy but we still were able to see the Na Pali coast and Mount Wai'ale'ale in all their glory. What a beautiful island! It's definitely pricey but I recommend it. Your money is better spent on a heli tour than on any other tourist attraction.

I can't say enough about this helicopter tour, it was unbelievable! Breath taking scenery and a pilot who was so skilled and knowledgeable. He showed up places that there is no other way to see, it is private property with no roads. He flew up so far up canyons, that I was wondering how we were turning around, but after the first time, he showed me that he knew what he was doing. Definitely worth the money!!
