Please please please make sure you wear dark clothing like they tell you. Or wear the black shirt that they give you to put on over cause yes, it will ruin every view, picture, video. The only bad thing is that one of the people that were in the same helicopter with us was wearing a bright flower dress. So half the time I could only see her dress through the glare and reflection. Towards the middle and end of the tour, I just stopped taking pictures cause her dress was coming out on all the pictures and videos. Her and her daughter sat in front so they had a perfect view with no flower dress glares in their view and her husband sat in the back on the opposite side of us, so he as well didn't get that flower dress glare in his view and pictures either. I was so upset cause they told her in the beginning to put that shirt on cause she will ruin it for everyone and yes, she did. She didn't put that shirt on. She only laid it in the front of her so it can look like she had it on but she didn't. This tour isn't cheap either so it was a waste of my hard earned working money. I think the staff should've made sure she put it on.

Could not fault this company. From the time of Internet booking right through to taking our photos on the ground, they were a thoroughly competent operation. We took the Eco Star option that sat 6. The company ensures that couples sit together so that although the inside seats on the rear bench that sits 4 has a little more restricted vision, you feel comfortable leaning over towards the window. We were first timers but the pilot never had us worried for a minute, warning when we were approaching areas of higher wind. He took a lot of trouble to make sure both sides had an equal view and his commentary was informative and interesting. I would thoroughly recommend this as flying into the creator or across the Ni Pali cliffs is an experience of a life time.

We selected this company based on the "Revealed" book series. Their operation was smooth and efficient from start to finish. I booked the traditional way-via telephone three months in advance. I received detailed confirmation and instructions via email. We arrived at the designated time and the check-in process was easy. There is a safety video that is mandatory. We were assigned seats in the helicopter based upon weight. You can purchase a video of your flight afterwards. Our tour visited multiple waterfalls, Waimea Canyon and Na Pali Coastline. Our pilot, Trevor, was engaging and informative. The birds eye perspective of the island was extraordinary and really made me appreciate the majestic nature of the island. The expense of this activity is well worth it!

This was a great start to our trip to Kauai. Such a good way to see the island and decide which parts to see up close later on. Our Pilot was great. We learnt a ton about the island and enjoyed the views. It definitely wasn't cheap but we were glad we did it.

My husband and I had originally booked with Safari Helicopters and had an awful experience. We got our money back and paid a little more for Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. This was the best decision we could have made. They are extremely courteous and professional. Our pilot Miguel was amazing. He was very personable and friendly. We had an amazing time. We loved our tour and would recommend it. This was probably the coolest thing we did on either Oahu or Kauai. It is a lot of money, but it's worth it. If you go to Costco on the island you can get $100 Blue Hawaiian gift card for $80. We saved $80 this way.

Yes, it's expensive. We debated all week if we should do it, but on our last day we decided to treat ourselves to a tour of the volcano and waterfalls on the Big Island. Worth every penny! Our pilot made a great effort to make sure that every passenger (even the nervous ones) felt safe and was having a good time. Superb headphones so that we could hear what he was saying and listen to the music he chose to enhance out trip: Top Gun theme at takeoff, Hawaiian music by the waterfalls. We couldn't have been more pleased. Right down to the cold towels that were supplied when we landed.

I did a lot of research before choosing Blue Hawaiian. All I can say is that our experience was perfect. The waiting area, the helicopters, the staff and most importantly, our pilot were great. I wish I remembered our pilot's name. He was so gentle in his demeanor and really made us feel like he was a friend. he continually referred to my daughter to engage her in the sights and kept the conversations entertaining. The only bad thing was that the time went by so quickly. The setup is all professional and the waiting area is clean. Their new helicopters are amazing and the ride was soo smooth. Thanks again.

We flew with Trevor and he was so awesome! It was our first time in a helicopter and we were surprised by smooth the ride was. From the moment you check in, you can tell this is a first class place! Safety is number one! They answer any questions you have and alleviate any concerns. Trevor was very informative and shared lots of information about the island to us! By doing the helicopter tour early in our vacation, we were able to check out the island and get a better idea of where we wanted to go to. They have cameras outside the helicopter as well as inside the helicopter so that you can purchase a video specific to your helicopter ride which is awesome! I would definitely recommend checking out Blue Hawaiian if you are doing a helicopter tour.

A friend and I travelled to Kauai for 10 days as a break from home. One of the things we did was to take a helicopter trip. I loved it, my friend was mehh. I will tell you why the 2 opinions so you have 2 views. I love the fear factor, and our former Vietnam helicopter pilot was very over the top in how he handled his bird. Huge dips and lifts, flying through tight cliff canyons, zooming up to cliff walls, tilts. I was thrilled! However my friend quickly became airsick and could only close her eyes and hold onto her knees. If you spend the money to do this kind of fun, consider your aptitude for the air.

This is a well run company. Views are breathtaking! A must do in Kauai. Our pilot was Brad who is a trained military pilot. He is obviously very experienced and knowledgeable. The ticket cost is 20% lower if you have an Aloha Privilege Card. We received the card from our timeshare concierge.

Excellent facility offering a once in a lifetime experience to see maui from the air . Safety video shown with information of tour. Excellent knowledge by pilot given throughout the one hour flight .photos taken of us throughout the time in the helicopter and we were able to communicate with pilot asking questions as we toured around .video available to buy at the end to remind us of the fantastic experience we had . What a great views , the tour is a beautiful , interesting and informative Idea of Maui. We can't wait to try another one again!

My brother and I took a flight over lava fields on Big Island as part of another tour we booked with Discover Hawaii tours. I can recommend both companies; the flight was comfortable and fun, and we got to see the lava flowing underneath the crust! We also had a quick flight around some waterfalls which are apparently off limits to hiking - its a real shame because they looked great! A big thank you to our pilot Greg, who was informative, polite, friendly, and flew like a boss.
