After recently visiting Hawaii and trying to purchase the video, the credit card wouldn't go through so we paid cash. We were assured the card would not be charged. Get home and there is a charge on the card and we have not had a reply to our emails. We had a great time on the helicopter pity it was marred by this event

Even Paul Revere would have benefitted from this experience. This is a must have adventure for those seeking to really see Hawaii. The trifecta of a cordial, professional pilot (Julie); great up close views that were balanced for clients on both sides; and a take home video option left me wanting more. It might just be enough to make a grown man cry, but I skipped the emotional tears and truly enjoyed the journey! Mahalo to Juli, grounds crew and office staff for an incredible memory.

This was an amazing tour of Oahu, and our pilot (Julie) was very informative, and she did a great job to make sure everyone ended up with an awesome view!

My husband organised this helicopter flight for my birthday. The scenery was amazing as we flew over the island of Oahu. Julie our pilot was a wealth of knowledge and made sure we all had photo opportunities. My husband and I were lucky enough to be sitting at the front of the chopper and took some amazing photos. Definitely something you should do when in Hawaii to give you a full perspective of the island.

Excellent flight and great commentary from the pilot, we were all able to ask questions about various things that we saw, the view is stunning and unbelievable you can't get the full Beaty of the island without doing this flight, well worth the money.

Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour is amazing and a must-do on your Hawaii vacation. You get to see parts of Kaua'i that you can only see from the air. Breathing views of caves, cliffs, waterfalls... The most beautiful place on earth-The sculptural masterpiece of the Na Pali Coast , the Bali Hai Cliffs, and the pristine blue waters of Hanalei Bay. Kauai is not only the greenest of Hawaii's islands, it is also the first inhabited, geologically oldest and fourth largest.

Our guidebook said that visiting Kauai without taking a helicopter tour is like going through the Sistine Chapel without looking up. I couldn't agree more. If you do nothing else on Kauai, do this! It gives you a perspective of the island that you'll never get otherwise, and the scenery is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Although the entire 50-55 minute trip is amazing, be prepared to stop breathing when you enter the volcano crater (which unfortunately is sometimes thwarted by weather). You will feel as if you have entered an alternate universe, with 3000-foot waterfalls descending on all sides. Blue Hawaii does an excellent job, with first-class equipment and excellent pilots. A few words of advice on pictures and video: 1. You really need video to capture even a remote sense of the panorama that unfolds. 2. Don't do your own video; it will inevitably be marred by reflections and interference from the helicopter window frames. Instead, sit back and lose yourself in the experience, then buy the video that is made of your flight, which includes the pilot's commentary that won't be audible on your own video. You can even get Blu-ray.

June 1 we had the pleasure of taking the helicopter tour of Kauai. Our 2 15 year old grandkids were with. Mark was our pilot and did a masterful and professional job. The many scenes we saw were breathtaking. Numerous waterfall, rugged terrain, Grand Canyon of the Pacific and much more. Nth his was our 2nd time to fly with Blue and they did not disappoint

This was one of the best things I'd done in my life, let alone in Kauai. What a beautiful and safe trip I had, just like riding in a car to see all the sites from above. This is a MUST, MUST do for all. You can purchase gift cards at Costco in Kauai for $80.00 and they equal $100.00, but 3 per person so you have some $$ left over to get some souveniers. I bought the $40 USB of the trip I went on and it was worth it. Whole package was $239.00 for the helicopter and $40. for the video. You will have to download the sound from their FAQ (question 14) prior to viewing so that you have audio. I have shown this over and over to my friends and family, and everyone is in awe. Seriously the best view of the island, and if you are scared, forget about it. The helicopter is just like riding in a car, completely enclosed with AC, not cold at all. Happy Happy Happy!!!! I cannot say enough about the staff and pilot who were very consciencious and concerned for our saftey as well as our enjoyment of the views. Really do it! You won't regret.

Booked online and arrived at our timeshare at Kings Land Hilton and could see the helicopters flying over the highway. We booked the Big Island Spectacular with waterfall landing. It was the best part of our trip. After this experience we were better able to appreciate the entire island and all the nature around. We took off from Waikoloa and flew to Kilauea and saw flowing lava! Amazing. My kids were hooting and wide eyed. We then refueled in Hilo and then explored the coast and beautiful waterfalls. We then explored Waipio valley and experienced the waterfall landing. This was the highlight as we disembarked the helicopter and explored this natural wonder in peace. The waterfall was beautiful and only accessible by helicopter. We took tons of pictures and were amazed at the beauty of the big island. The kids still can't stop talking about our experience. Book this tour and you will not regret it. Marco was our pilot and he was knowledgeable and entertaining. Booking online was cheaper and we had 5 passengers and ended up with our own helicopter. We even saw whales as we explored the coast. Professional outfit with Bose' noise cancelling headphones. I made sure everyone had a camera to take photos and had everyone wear dark clothing. It was very windy but Marco expertly navigated through the weather and we had a wonderful flight. At the end of the flight we bought the video which tapes the flight on DVD and also the conversations are recorded as well. Do it.

We did the Big Island Spectacular tour. This was the third time we've done this trip and it was the best by far. Our pilot, Greg, was outstanding. Informative, pleasant, got everyone involved, knowledgable, etc. He was the best pilot we have had out of our three trips. Maneuvered to see the lava lake and mini fountains at pu' pu', lava flow burning the rain forest and followed up with spectacular valley vistas after refueling in Hilo. This is the way to see the diversity and beauty of this island! No one should miss the experience. And, FYI, book the Ecostar helicopter. Beautiful visibility and great comfort.

Has some trepidations about this two hour tour, but it was magnificent. Well structured, pilot Greg was fun and highly informative. Saw things we have only heard about. Not cheap, but this is money well spent.

This was our third time using Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for arial tours of Hawaii's islands. They are by far the best company in the Islands, Very informative and the safest. Great narrative and awesum views of the island you are on. They scenery was stunning, and the views of Pearl Harbour amazing. you could of course see the outline and leaking oil from the USS Arizona Memorial.

A perfect way to see the island. Shay was a fabulous pilot and tour guide. He explained all the beautiful sights and gave us time to take in the breath taking views. He personalized the tour by remembering our names (or cheating) but still it made it so personal. The music that accompanied our trip was perfect. I was just looking at the video and was even more impressed. What great memories. The weather wasn't even perfect yet the trip was!!!! Thank you for a great experience.

View areas only accessible by long hikes, boats, or helicopters. Great way to see the most beautiful parts of the island in an hours time! Each passenger has headphones & microphones to chat with pilot & passengers - very knowledgable pilot. There are also cameras taping entire flight which you can purchase a copy of after trip - worth it. My wife & I hiked many trails and drove to many different ares as well as a boat / snorkeling trip along the coast - the helicopter ride was the highlight!
