Outstanding... breath taking... Pilot Barrette made the trip personal and entertaining. If you're considering a tour, DO IT! Do it early in your stay to learn a lot about the island to enhance your vacation. Two thumbs up, five stars, and a HUGE thank you to Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for the amazing experience!

We did the Kohala Coast tour with Blue Hawaiian and it was breathtaking...we saw gorgeous waterfalls, amazing coastlines, and even whales...they were migrating and putting on quite a show. Our pilot made the trip and made me feel at ease. I can't remember his name but he had a southern accent and I think he said he was from the Carolina's. I would highly suggest doing this tour, we got the video of it too so we can always look back on this amazing experience.

Did the Kohala coast tour with my 4 year old daughter who had been asking me all week to take her on a helicopter ride. This tour was amazing and as previous reviewers have written- Worth Every Penny!! My 4 year old summed up the experience with a completely unprompted comment to our pilot, "this is awesome". Yes indeed!! Our pilot Jason was great, very informative and customer service oriented. He called everyone by their name for the entire flight and answered questions and even spent a little time showing us a whale. I was a little concerned about bringing a young child in this tour- glad I did. I will definitely be back!!

I've been to Oahu close to 40 times now, and last year my wife and I decided to take a helicopter tour of the island with Blue Hawaiian. I have to say, as many times as I have been to Oahu, this is the way to see it! Our pilot was very knowledgeable and it was a very breathtaking trip. I would recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to all of my friends!

I have never been on a helicopter before! Was kinda scared but a good nervous. I told the people that were my feelings and they put me at ease!! Caroline said its like a HUGE roller coaster ride! It was better!! This ride to see the island was the best thing I could have done!!! Have no idea why I didn't do sooner!! Julie was my pilot and she was wonderful!! I sat right in front with my face plastered to the front window taking pictures!! With all the large windows you feel like flying!!! Totally amazing ride!!!! The best hour of my life!!!and they offer you a video of the ride for a small charge but worth it!!! Highly recommend doing!! This will be something I do every year I come here!!! Mahalo for the best time of my life!!! Again totally amazing ride and group of people that work there!!!

What an incredible way to see the island of Kauai and especially Waimea Canyon and the Napali Coast. The helicopter is very comfortable and the flight is an exhilarating 50 minutes. Breathtaking trips into the canyon and coves. No worries about riding in a helicopter ... it was a wonderful first time experience. This is a little pricey, but worth it if you can. The staff was very efficient and friendly. Hats off to Blue Hawaiian.

This was the first activity I did in Kauai and it was a hard one to beat! The tour lasted about an hour and the whole outfit is very professional. You feel safe when you travel with Blue Hawaiian, and I liked how their helicopters had doors...some I saw leaving the airport for tours did not! Our pilot was Chris and he was amazing. He was so informative, but at the same time funny, and calming. We saw the entire island and were in awe by all of it. I can't recommend a helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian enough!!

Pilot Geoff was wonderful and the flight was incredible. Loved how much that we could see. Best experience on the island. We'd recommend this to everyone.

There are several companies providing helicopter tours on Maui, but thru others' recommendations and our own research, we chose Blue Hawaiin. They're a bit pricier than some others but believe me they earned it. It's best to tour early in the morning before the winds pick up, and we had to get up at the crack of dawn to be there at 7:00 am (it's an hour drive over from Lahaina). The trip took us over the Haleakala volcana, Hana and adjacent mountains and plains. The pilot was very chatty and informative and piloted the helicopter like we were civilians, not aviators. Exhillarating experience. Also, be sure to buy the personalized DVD of your trip. You'll be glad you did once you get back home.

aloha, the best way to see an island is to fly over it..the resaon i found out is half of Oahu is "back country" or military trainning area..meanning no public roads and no hikes... so I took the helicopter tour.. i was scared but as soon as I saw how safe it was i really enjoyed myself... and my pictures are great!!!! the waterfalls we flew over were the biggest on the island and the reef from the sky was really pretty....you can really learn the roads and lay of the land from the sky..so the rest of the trip it was much ealier to get around!!! best picutres ever... this is a much do on any tropical island!!! book in the lobby of your hotel..they had a big discount at mine! so i saved $$$ an had the best time an conqured a fear whooo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We flew with pilot Julie, she was so informative and easy to listen to. The sights were breathtaking and was the best way to see Oahu. We had driven around the island days before and the views from above just completed our magical Hawaiian holiday. The whole experience from booking to the bus ride there and back was a pleasure and totally professional. It was not my first helicopter tour, have been on many, this was, hands down my favourite. Thanks Guys!

Did the 2 hour flight which included seeing the snow capped mountains, volcano and we were lucky enough to see lava flow. We flew over Hilo and the canyons with the most spectacular waterfalls! Scott our pilot was awesome. My friend was nervous to fly the first time but he made her feel instantly at ease. The team are very professional and the entire experience was enjoyable and I would recommend these guys to everyone! Thanks team! Tanja

Our pilot was amazing. I was told the AM tour has the best weather. Lava, whales, hidden valleys, what's not to like? The ride was amazingly smooth and much quieter (NOT quiet) than I expected.
