I can't say enough about the great experience I had today on the Kohala tour. This was my first time on a helicopter & I felt very safe with Eric. The company really emphasized safety which was very reassuring. He was very knowledgeable about where we were, showing us things that could only be seen by air. It was a fantastic time.

Surprised my family at the last minute and booked this 60min tour - what agreat way to see the best of the Island None of us had flew in a Helicopter before so this was anew experience for all 4 of us.Excellent pilot in Johnathan who displayed a fantastic knowledge of everything we flew over. The flight was smooth and we saw the beach and corals from a view point that you only see on t.v. Forget the price this is a tour that you HAVE to do on your trip to Honolulu.

We flew with Julie and our trip was AMAZING! One of our favorite things during our 9 day stay on Oahu! It was my daughters first helicopter flight and also mine. I would definitely do this one again. We flew over Oahu and saw the most amazing scenery that could NEVER be seen by car or bus. I would do this again in a heartbeat! Thank you Blue Hawaiian! And thanks to the great video Blue Hawaiian took of our trip we have our own personal memories that can be relived anytime we want! I highly recommend purchasing the video! Only $25 and worth every penny! You will never see Pearl Harbor the way we saw it if you don't fly over! This helicopter tour is a must when visiting Oahu.

We had a great trip and the scenery was fabulous! I wish the weather had cooperated more though but never the less it was great. Pilot Chris was good and very informative. We would definately do this again!

Maybe I'm partial, but I did my homework, and Blue Hawaiian is the BEST. Our pilot, Barrett, is a native of Kauai, and his wonderful, funny and laid back narrative fit in perfectly with the music and SPECTACULAR scenery. This is the only way to see the whole island...we drove the road both ways more than once and up to the top of Waimea, but this helicopter ride was the highlight of our trip. Just amazing, and we will never forget how well we were treated by everyone (thank you for the follow up email, Patti), but esp. our pilot, Barrett, you ROCK! Thank you, Blue Hawaiian (I'm sorry I can't name you all, but everyone I dealt with was super nice), for taking such good care of these first time visitors! Kauai is God's own paradise, and seeing it by air is a splurge well worth taking. Call Blue Hawaiian for the time of your life!!!

All Helicopter rides had been canceled prior to ours due to poor weather conditions. Our Pilot Steve wanted to give it a shot to see if the weather had changed near our tour destination. Although we would have loved to seen the Kohala Coast today, safety was more important to all of us. We did end up getting a helicopter ride just unable to reach the destination due to poor weather conditions. The Polite said Quality Over Quantity, and safety first! Since we did not reach our destination we did receive a full refund and we still were able to be in the air for a good 30 minutes to witness some of the coast and Island. Our Pilot made the ride enjoyable and entertaining and I would recommend them to anyone. Hopefully we can get back to the island soon and we will book through Blue Hawaiian again!

I had gone on a helicopter ride above the volcano before but with the recent volcanic activity thought it was worth another trip. The increase in the lava field was amazing. We were lucky enough to see some lava before the air changed its colour. The pilot gave a very interesting commentary. That would have been enough but at the end we flew over the ocean and were able to look down on whales. Wow! What an unforgettable experience.

We took the Big Island Spectacular tour and loved it! We had our foubts as the weather days before the tour was mostly cloudy and raining. However, the rain stopped and we were off to climb Mauna Kea first. Spectacular views of the many lava flows over the years as we acended the snowy mountain. Then to see live lava from a live volcano on Mauna Loa. Double WOW! But if you want to see the beaytu of the island be sure to see the many waterfalls and the spectacular beauty of Waip'o and Waimanu valleys!!! You can't imagine how awesome it is to slowly fly through and then hover to stop and take in this beauty. Shane, our pilot, was excellant in his skill and also attentive to point out the whales and Dolphins in the water as we flew over the coast. This trip was worth every penny and, by the way, be sure to get your personal flight video after you're flight. It too is an excellant value. In short, do yourself a favor and take this flight with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Money well spent!

We have undertaken numerous helicopter flights in Australia, New Zealand and in Alaska. The helicopter flight in Kauai with Blue Hawaiian is up among the best. The scenery was breathtaking particularly flying into the canyons, seeing the waterfalls up close and skirting along the dramatic coast. The pilot makes you feel at ease and the helicopter is very comfortable. Worth every cent. Would also recommend the Blue Hawaiian flight on Hawaii over the volcanoes and along the coast - different scenery to Kauai but just as good a flight.

Brad, our pilot good and was very informative. The flight was smooth and the scenery was amazing! We began our flight on May 15th at 8 o'clock in the morning and the light was wonderful, highlighting the beautiful colours in the canyons. It was a 55 min flight. The middle seat in the front was empty so although I was sitting by a window in the back, I had a good view through the gap in the front as well. We bought the video of our flight and the photography was amazing! Just got home to England UK and watched the video. What amazing memories we now have. Thank you Blue Hawaii!

You can't visit this beautiful island and NOT take the helicopter tour, because most of its beauty you can't see except by helicopter. Breathtaking features of the island include the many waterfalls, the volcano, Na Pali coast, the "Grand Canyon", the tropical forests, movie scenes, and the majestic mountains. The pilots narrate with interesting facts, and are obviously highly skilled pilots. You can take your own photos/video, but they make a nice video of your trip you can buy afterwards, and they give you a video of this and other islands. You hardly need to take photos, because the vivid images stick in your mind. Make this the first thing you do, and you know you've done the best.

We absolutely loved our helicopter tour! The views were unbelievable and our pilot (Geoffery) was great. We felt very safe and comfortable, and could easily see everything. We will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Outstanding... breath taking... Pilot Barrette made the trip personal and entertaining. If you're considering a tour, DO IT! We did the Kohala Coast tour with Blue Hawaiian and it was breathtaking...we saw gorgeous waterfalls, amazing coastlines, and even whales...they were migrating and putting on quite a show. Our pilot made the trip and made me feel at ease. I can't remember his name but he had a southern accent and I think he said he was from the Carolina's. I would highly suggest doing this tour, we got the video of it too so we can always look back on this amazing experience.

Did the Kohala coast tour with my 4 year old daughter who had been asking me all week to take her on a helicopter ride. This tour was amazing and as previous reviewers have written- Worth Every Penny!! My 4 year old summed up the experience with a completely unprompted comment to our pilot, "this is awesome". Yes indeed!! Our pilot Jason was great, very informative and customer service oriented. He called everyone by their name for the entire flight and answered questions and even spent a little time showing us a whale. I was a little concerned about bringing a young child in this tour- glad I did. I will definitely be back!!
