My husband and I took one of your helicopter rides on Kauai last Thursday, March 27th.It was one of the most exhilarating rides I've ever experienced! Our pilot, Barrett was very knowledgeable and kept us up-to-date on each and every valley and waterfall, beach and community. Thank you for providing this opportunity to see the island of Kauai from the air! My husband says it was far better than riding a helicopter with door-gunners! The ride was so smooth and the valleys were so awesome! We will be sure to tell all of our friends and family about how wonderful this tour was! Mahalo

Michael was a fantastic guide and a great pilot. We enjoyed the flight and got to see many areas of the island that are not accessible other than by air. What a great experience! We will be recommending Blue Hawaiian to others. Thank you very much.

What an unbelievable experience. My husband and I took our 3 kids (11, 16, 19) and it was a real highlight of our trip to Kauai. We would highly recommend it!!

I have always wanted to go on a helicopter tour of Kauai - canyons, beaches, "jurassic park falls", etc. We picked this because of AAA recommendation and traveler reviews here. (no recent negative reviews) We were blessed with good weather so the trip was amazing. Our pilot Craig was great, we were up close in the canyons and felt so comfortable, as this was our first helicopter ride ever. Most of the staff was quite friendly, especially Sean and the rest of the safety support staff. Would definitely recommend a helicopter tour over a plane tour.

I was a bit apprehensive having never flown in a helicopter before but this was so smooth and comfortable that my fears were totally unfounded. our pilot, Vince was very nice and informative. The views were something that you really have to experience for yourself. I can't recommend this enough

I researched the internet for helicopter rides and the newer choppers they use at Blue hawaiian sounded like the way to go. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. The flight was amazing. Our pilot was Jonathan - he was very knowledgeable and very adept at flying, pointing out landmarks, keeping in touch with control towers, and making the flight personal by calling us each by our names and involving each of us in conversation, and maneuvering cameras for our DVD - all at the same time! It was money well spent.

Took the trip in Kauai. When you make reservations you are advised to wear dark clothing to minimize the glare. Supposedly, seating is done by the computer. So who did they put in front? A man with a bright red shirt on. Needless to say it ruined all of our beautiful pictures. What a waste of money. The pilot was not very informative and lacked knowledge. I would choose another helicopter. Have flown BH before, so was very disappointed.

Blue Hawaiian were fantastic. Very professional and well organised. We flew early in the morning and it was fanatastic. Gave us a great view of the Island and all of its beauty. Our pilot was the best. Good humour and very knowledgable about the island and country. The trip is pricey but Blue Hawaiian have the best aircraft, pilot and staff. Well done.

We recently returned from Hawaii two days ago, and at first booking, I was a little apprehensive about doing a helicopter ride - I have a fear of heights. But this was by far the highlight of our trip and I am so glad we experienced it on Blue Hawaiian. Our pilot Geoff was excellent. You really have to experience this - the majesty of it all will bring you to tears. Now that we are home and watched our personalized video, it brought me to tears once again. Thank you Blue Hawaiian. Many mahola's!!

My wife, and another couple all went on a Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour of Kauai. None of us had ever been on a helicopter before, and while excited there were also some nerves. Every employee at Blue Hawaiian is professional and takes safety very seriously. When we booked the reservations a few months ago we requested to all ride together in the same helicopter, and they were more than happy to meet that request. The ride was outstanding!! Very smooth, not bumpy at all, headsets are comfortable and the pilot did a remarkable job talking about the island and giving us a great ride in the valleys, craters, etc! It was amazing, and well worth the money!! We chose Blue Hawaiian based on referrals from friends, and we are glad we chose them!! The CD is optional for $25, and we love it! We've watched it a couple times already since coming

Booked this trip when we got to Hawaii - the helicopter ride lasts 45 minutes and leaves from the other side of the airport. From beginning to end, this flight was a well organised, efficient operation. Once on board the craft we were given a safety briefing and then we were off, travelling first along the Waikiki strip and past Diamond Head. Then we followed the coast line all the way up to around Sunset Beach before returning over the pineapple plantations. We flew along the route followed by the Japanese bombers towards Pearl Harbour and even had permission to enter this zone. The opportunities to take photos were endless and as a bonus, a DVD was made with the commentary made during the flight - this cost $25 to purchase but it was worth it. There are specific times available during the day to do this flight and all up it probably needs about 3 hours including pick up and drop off. It is wise not to take anything more than your camera and wallet with you - you can't take it on the helicopter - it is stowed in a secure locker at the helicopter base. This is a fabulous way to see the island and take great photos as well.

This was totally AWESOME!!!! Julie is an excellent pilot and tour guide. It was well worth the cost of the trip. The staff treated us like royality. Thanks so much, we highly recommend this tour to anyone. Maholo. Kevin

My two sons, 14 and 12, rated this as the best thing they did on our Oahu vacation last month. I had never taken a helicopter tour before. I also enjoyed it a lot.

I was not dissapointed in this flight. I saw a lot of Oahu you just don't get to see from land. The helicopter was great, with headphones and microphones, the pilot was very knowledgable and safe and the staff where fantasctic. Great value.....do it!!!
